Hmmmm, What is it ? This bird has been visiting a Feeder in the Northwest....chasing smaller birds from the feeder....large...hawklike? adolescent hawk ? eagle ? ...BUT What is it ??? Anyone know...my friend lives in the Northwest ( and the photo was taken through the porch railing- NOT jail bars...)...so if anyone has a guess ??? Click on the Photo and you can see it Nice and Large...
now when I enlarge the photo...I think it is a young peregrine falcon....esp. because of the colored beak and hood....

ReplyDelete(I am so far behind) ... I was thinking falcon. Definitely raptor. His head looks too small for a hawk.
