Colonel Wilkerson was on Rachel Maddow this week speaking about Innocent men being swept up and taken to Gitmo....This is Shameful and must be resolved.This will forever stain America's image and justice must be sought for the perpetrators of this debacle.

I was so glad Obama said this would be a priority (Shutting down Gitmo)- but then said 16 months.
ReplyDeleteFor innocent "detainees" who already lost many years of their lives & freedom, another year or more is too much.
I wish Bush & Cheney would spend the rest of their lives locked up in Gitmo.
I think he said it would be closed within the year, and he also got rid of the Enemy Combatant term- that was also another first step....I think it will be closed sooner than a year. Holder just went there a week ago...have hope ....it will help....
