ReplyDeleteI'm sooooo nervous.
ReplyDeleteI voted, but I really, REALLY want it to be 4:30 so I can go home, make a nice dinner, settle in with some popcorn and a bottle of wine and watch the returns. Maybe even come by for E4E's liveblogging.
Ain't over until it's over - I'm on pins and needles.
I started a shopping list last night.... the only item on it?

Change is a coming....NOW...Finally..
Spent the morning volunteering to get the vote out, voted in the afternoon, watching the comedy channel (political humor), checking some blogs - not going to watch much news until later when most polls are closed.
ReplyDeleteDid get to see Obama and is lovely family vote, followed by Biden.
What an awesome day! Excitment is in the air!
Hi Enigma my sweet rose...
ReplyDeleteWell I voted after work and the whole time it took was 50 minutes.
Now we will see if another election is stolen through the Diebold Touch Screen voting machines.
I sure hope not and only God knows for sure if it will.
Take care and ...
God Bless you.
My local news had a report this morning on early voting numbers for my county. They said the turnout beat the numbers from 2004. I looked up the population stats from '06 and based on those numbers, over 25% of the population that is over 18 in my county voted early. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing what the final numbers are for election day!
We'll have to check out your comments later tomorrow. But as they say here in DC, hope you're having a Happy Fourth.
ReplyDeleteHi Enigma, thought you might be liveblogging the results tonight. Am watching both CNN and MSNBC - can't believe how fast they're calling states. Kentucky for McCain but Vermont for Obama. Fingers crossed. We'll be heading over to a friend's house to watch the rest of the returns shortly.
ReplyDeleteHopes and prayers to all!
ReplyDeletelookin' good so far.
ReplyDeletePennsylvania has been called for Obama. I'd say pretty much GAME OVER, except for the vote flipping & optical ballot problems in Florida which is trending Obama(lawyers are already there). Now I'm watching the senate races more closely. Flipping from MSNBC, CNN, NBC etc. For a real laugh, tune in FOX. They are putting on happy faces, but cannot hide their crying eyes. Boo hoo ...
ReplyDeleteOK I'll check back in awhile. When can we break out the champagne?
It's a beautiful day indeed.
ReplyDeleteback from canvassing! Ohio 4 Obama baby!
