(( I am Bhuddhist, a mother, a nurse.....and a World Citizen....I think Our Global Neighbors deserve Better...I have blogged before that I think the Olympics Should Be Boycotted....It is simple.....For I can not help but Wonder Where Will Monks be Murdered Next...First Burma...then Tibet....In these Countries the Monks also nurture the people, educate the young, and preserve the History and Libraries....and Violent Regimes are destroying the Culture and History....Escapees have compared living there to Auchwitz...I will be researching the SPONSERS of the Olympics, I realize Our Own Country, that is violating Rights here will never consider Boycotting....The Torch , the "Journey of Harmony" the Chinese has named the Torch Relay this - as part of their Propaganda Campaign. The Torch is being Used as a TOOL by the Chinese Government that their Repression be embraced and accepted by other Countries. The Torch bearers themselves should be shown respect- they do not know they are being used as a Propaganda Tool. I hope and pray that the Protests are Shown, that they are Peaceful ....but that Dissent is Allowed as Our Founding Fathers would have wanted. As a Country this is a Test regarding our Rights to Assemble and Protest......it is a Crumbling Right. ))
