There was Nothing set forth by the Founding Fathers that precedented that we, as Americans llegally Imprison Others.There was Nothing that allowed Our Government to Imprison, and Torture Others Indefinently. There was Nothing about Renditioning People, Hiding , imprisoning, and Torturing them in Secret Prisons. There was nothing about Building Secret Harmful Prisons on Communist Islands. There was Nothing that allowed Our Government to Declare False Wars and to Occupy Countries Under False Pretenses.

I do not Live in Bushland, I do not abide your Lies or False Laws, or mianipulation of Real Laws. I Believe in Peace. I believe In Justice. I believe in Truth.

Monday Night Football was a beautiful thing- Saints won.

I am so tired of being ashamed of a "Leader" ( cough-gag-cough) that is NOW trying to change the Geneva Conventions because he is TRYING to protect his own Criminal ass- because he has been MANDATING TORTURE.

When I was in highschool, many moons ago, I had the opportunity to drive Cross Country with friends. One of the friends had an" Uncle' that was susposed to "chaperon" this Venture. It was 1976, the Uncle invited the Travelers to a BBQ, and he proudly showed us the Vehicle ( A 1965 VW Bus with ALL the finest luxories) that we were susposed to be traveling in. He was proud of this Vehicle. He was 24 and truly a bonafide Hippie, and we didn't want to offend him, but we all had concerns about traveling Great Distance in the Old Vehicle, and it wasn't even 30 years old. ( It just looked it).

Well, Epilogue to the Great Venture:
It turned out that the Naive Highschool Students did indeed have Good Common Sense. Money was saved and a Newer Safer Vehicle was acquired before the Venture. And Uncle Mike was indeed Chaperon, but we limited his Duties to sitting in the Back Seat serenading us with his guitar. ( In many ways we were Chaperon for him).

So here is my Question, My Concern. The Space Shuttle is frigging old- like 30 years old, even with New Paint Job and New Tiles, should we really be using this Vehicle to travel Great Distances ?

STEVE IRWIN'S MEMORIAL

ANIMAL PLANET tonight at 9pm aired what was susposedly the Memorial Service for Steve Irwin. I am not sure what it was. It was definently the oddest thing I have ever seen. I am still confused by it. It was susposed to be a small intimate service at his Zoo, and for the Keepers and his family and friends. And Terri was there with their children, and many families were there with their children. Yet it was a "Show", very staged. And interspersed with the service Animal Planet aired Interviews with "Hollywood", Kelly Ripa, Jason Timberlake and Cameron Diaz, and more " Stars". It made me sick. I am still wondering if the people sitting in the Zoo outdoor arena had to listen to Kelly Ripa ramble on...Maybe I just don't understand Animal Planet or Australia. Anyways please see the Wildlife Warriors site I posted earlier in the Month, it is doing fine work and you can honor Steve and his fine Conservation work.

Here in Cleveland, this is just another neighbor.
There are susposedly 10,000 people that reside in Downtown Cleveland.
Urban Dwellers.
Yet susposedly 3000 are Homeless.
This is the poorest City in the Country.
More than 35% of our population are living below the Poverty level.
More than 50% of the children here are living in Poverty.
Many of the Homeless on the Streets here have health problems, 600 have AIDS,
and more are Disabled.
It is Unknown how many are VETS- But is a large number.
Yes, From Gulf I and also Iraq.
Many are families, women and children. Many of the Homeless are Working Poor.

I am an Urban Dweller.
I am currently trying to get a job at the Clinic Downtown that provides Health Care to
the Homeless.
Handing out change, sandwiches, soup, and water on my own is not enough anymore.
Working at the Clinic won't pay much.
But being a nurse to My Neighbors .....
That Matters.
They Matter.

And why we have this Great AirForce- and yet NORAD did squat on 911 between 8:30 am and noon ( that we know of). Althought there are many questions about the Pentagon and that Field in Pennsylvania.And let's not forget the Human Shield Moment- Bush reading a Goat Book with Children while he pissed his pants.

And Now the Bigger Question is Why 40,000 Plus were exposed to Horrendous Toxins and Lies.....
( and please someone explain to my Why there is NO Memorial at the WTC Site- how disrespectful....of the Dead and the Living- but now that we have lived through Katrina we know that People's Lives are easily disrespected....)

(2) FDA and CDC waited over 3 weeks to get "involved" with the latest EColi Outbreak- anyone want to bet some good moeny that all the Money has pissed away on Bird Flu Protection- and screw EColi and BSE ( Mad Cow Virus) Programs.

(3) Anyone want to guess how well our Ports are Protected and Improved Since 911 ? How about Chemical Plants ? Borders? Trains?
yeah...get back to me on that....

(4) Katrina....well where do you want me to start? And How Many Programs are "under" the Homeland Insecurity Blanket?
Let' s just say the Damage alone is enough to send the Entire Administration to jail for a long time. And about Katrina- Jack Cafferty said it better than I ever could...so watch the YouTube below...
