A Very Sad Loss in Blogatopia.....Goodbye Suzanne...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tonight I light Candles and Incense and Say Goodbye to Good Soul...a Lovely Soul....a Troubled Soul. I found out tonight from a friend ( Helen Wheels) that Liquid died on Christmas Eve....you can click to the title to learn more about the circumstances....I don't totally understand, but my heart aches that she was heavily troubled and that she ended her path, her journey. She must have been in such heavy hearted pain....she was always so funny and sharp on the blogs, quick with a joke or a snarky perspective...she made us laugh and smile.
So to honor her I ask that we be kinder to each other...and more gentle, less judgemental...that we check on each other more, Connect More....Listen Better...Treasure the Laughter....and Treasure Each Other...Alot of people are hurting right now, there is much pain out there with 8 years of hellish times and the homes and job issues are critical and painful, we need to be mindful and compassionate with each other.......I dedicate this song tonight " Somewhere Out There" ( Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram), I think the lyrics are just right for some reason.....that we take the time to offer support and let People know they matter and are special and that we are "out there" for each other....Namaste.
If you want to leave a Messege to her family there is an online Guest Book....
okay to clear up a few issues. Apparently she did committ suicide on Christmas eve, I am not sure what time...or really much about the details...
I went to her blog on Christmas eve, there was a lively silly conversation about Santa in his ironing outfit- and a silly photo....there was not indication of anything amiss or going to happen-she was as funny as ever....I feel like I missed something...
Anyways...other blogs mention that she wrestled with depression and many life issues...I don't know enough...I am just sad that so many people around.....but what weighed on her soul was more than we knew....
so sorry....that is all I know...
My mother has battled depression her entire life. It is horrible to watch someone you love not be able to find any joy in life. It is sometimes hard to spot when someone is depressed, even those we love. I am very sorry for your loss.
I didn't know her but I can relate to the pain she must have been in. I struggle with depression from the chronic pain I have. It is something that no one can really understand. I have it mostly under control now, and this helps. That's one reason I started blogging, to help me with the depression. Your line above here is the best we can do...just keep talking. It is important to reach out as you said in your post..to be there for each other as much as we can be. To just touch each other in the small ways, they mean more than you ever know. Even if it's just a smile or a wink...
Enigma, what a beautiful post for Suzanne. I think I met her over here, probably during the debates when we had such fun & witty banter going. I had only just gotten to know her... can't forget how hard I laughed at the Yvoone Criddle videos; I hadn't seen it before and I ended up sending them to everyone.
Lisa I saw you were a follower of her blog & a friend, my condolences go out to you and Enigma.
I can't imagine what her family is going through but it must be heartening to see to many loving tributes.
And yes... we need to always keep the communication alive.
Dear Helen:::
It was the debates..she was one of the folks that showed up for more than one for the LivebLogging ( brave lady...I think she even showed up for one of the repug ones I did..) and yes...when you said that you had heard....and it was Christmas eve...my first thought was-noooo, it must be someone else- I was there that night- she was funny...making jokes...I lurked as she had a banter going...and I feel horrible now that I did not say anything or comment...But she seemed okay...96 followers and much love, but the pain was bigger I guess...but yeah...as long as there is this chain looking out for folks..reaching out ....I have to hope and believe it helps folks...somehow...
Lisa:::
it is sad...really sad...
Annette::
I am so sorry...please know this..you have a family here...folks that care and understand and will look out for you.....that you can talk to ....that all pain has to faced and that with so many good people....it is easier to do it together...you were brave to start blogging....and braver still to keep blogging...we are here....
traveling man:::
good to see you....have missed you friend...thank you for explaining about your mom, and I am sorry that you watched that growing up...it made you wise and sensitive....it is like you said a Battle...and I think that is what it was with Suzanne (liquid) and I think I misunderstood the depth of her battle....it was bigger, deeper...than I understood....she was an artist , writer, I thought that it people were creating they are winning the battle....but that is not always true....namaste...
This all just stopped me cold. I'm always finding good in the bad, but this is just so sad. I hope she is comforted by my great Mom and Dad who are certainly "up there" to help out with a smile to anyone who leaves us far too soon.
