Compassion and Wisdom are returning to Our Country.....

Here we are approaching 50 days into the Obama Presidency and Obama is working on all the Bush Damage...from Gitmo to Iraq to the Economic Mess he is working on ALL of it.....Today he took a huge step by taking a new direction for Scientists studying Stem Cells...he aided their Research that has been sorely compromised and disabled by Bush's morally vindictive ignorant policies.....So even though it has been gray and raining....Some Light is Shining through.....

Obama in a way is bringing Compassion and Sympathy back into Government decisions....He is also showing wisdom and critical thinking skills that have been sorely needed for years....For anyone suffering Cancer or MS or another debilitating disease today was a very good day...and Important Day...

Even though we are facing hard times....Let's hope we all keep our Sympathy Compass Intact...and where ever we work and who we have contact with during the day...let's be sure to show some compassion...some empathy.....It's needed now more than ever......Down below some music...and news about the Stem Cell Laws Lifted, and the Job Situation....

Goo Goo Dolls...I wanted to post "Sympathy" , but for some reason Youtube won't let me, something about "entertainment purposes ???"( the lyrics for Sympathy are very relevant) ...which is a shame- because it is a perfect song for these times....So instead I am posting "Name"....it too has a messege...it is good for us all to help each other and reach out to each other....even if don't know each other's names....

Ever since I saw Jennifer Nettles sing with James Taylor at the Lincoln Memorial the weekend of the Inauguration....I have been listening to her...and yes, Sugarland....Jennifer Nettles ( Sugarland) " Life in a Northern Town"....This song for some reason reminds me of the Puget Sound and the Northwest...I am not sure why....really cheery song, and linked to the title is her with Bon Jovi....really uplifting....

Monday And The Countdown Is On...as of 5PM 41.5 to go ....

Senator Obama's Race for the Whitehouse is entering a Different phase, he will reach the Nominee threshold this week.....He will reach the new number needed, 2118.....it is Within Reach.

After Storms and heavy rains and much thunder....when you least expect it, the skies clear... and there is a Rainbow....I know many are on pins and needles...is this the week that this is going to End ? Is the Magic Number going to be reached in the next two days?...This weekend watching the Rules Committee, it was made pretty clear that the Voters that have voted and caucused are to be respected....The fact that this meeting was held , and that it was televised, that is more transparency than we have ever had. The only people that have not acknowlesged the Rules Meeting , the Clintons. Which is odd, considering how for monthes she was so focused on making sure their Votes Count, yet today the Voters of Michigan and Florida were barely mentioned by her. The Rules Committee made an announcement, and she did not acknowledge it or announce it. In a way it reminded me of how she has disenfranchised the caucus states one by one.

Obama is 46.5 away from the winning number....it has been a Marathon....with Many Hurdles...But we are with him on this Path...Millions of us...This is a Movement.

Hillary is still hoping to Change the rules, or for some glorious backroom deal....I think Change has arrived.....I have Hope....

IMPORTANT UPDATE::
While we are thinking positive and keeping Hope in our Hearts....Please also keep Senator Ted Kennedy in your thoughts and prayers, as he is having very delicate surgery on his Brain for his cancer today at 9am, it is atleast a 6 hour surgery. Namaste.
