10 Minutes..very very welldone...even gets a little one at Rudy...
(Click the title song "People Get Ready".....which is one of the songs that the Boss and Billy Joel played for Michelle and Barack Obama last night....later at another event..)
bloody brilliant as the brits would say..I'll have to hat tip and spread this one around.. seriously, it's nice to see McCain roasted but I think they do have 'sort of' another type of relation..but I have to say..what a statesman barack obama..bloody brilliant indeed!!
glad you have that feature 'create a link' which I just did.. hugs
Ingrid ps..how's your sinuses and your breathing? sorry I've been amiss for too long on the blog..how long have you been afflicted? hope you're over the hump at least.. hugs again
Ingrid:: hugs dear friend.. yeah- this is bloody brilliant...really is..do share it ;-)
( sinuses suck...ahhh but such is life...small potatoes..could be much worse..but thanks for letting me have my friday whine...hmmmm....maybe I need wine ? maybe that will help...sigh)
Yes they were both really funny. I noticed the Ghouliani joke seemed to scare everyone. I busted OUT LAUGHING last night when I saw it (live). OMG, Ghouliani loves to dress in drag & Obama called him on it!!! LOL!!
I was so impressed with this! Comedy is hard, that's why most politicians don't risk it. They usually suck at it (recall Bush looking for WMD's nope, none here) or come off like they are reading funny lines (unnatural behavior, not funny).
My favorite bit was when Obama explained he got his first name Barack from his father -- in Swaheli it means "that one" -- and he got his middle name from someone who obviously never thought he'd run for president.
Bloody Brilliant (as Ingrid said)!
ps, I posted both Obama & McCain's speeches, so you can compare ... (hint: McCain's is pretty near a concession speech).
Thanks all... I will be round today to check on Joe the Sham( fran I will put in round up down below)....and I did not post both speechs..hmm, maybe I should have- this was the best quality at Youtube...had trouble embedding the MSNBC version....
Torrance I love the photo...I have a video that is going up later that you will love....just for you ( hint yes, it is about daughters and daddies..)

It was an evening of fun and laughter for all and included with McCain on Letterman, Biden on Leno, and the SNL special.
Makes you wonder why can't we all just discuss the issues, be civil, share a joke now and then and vote.

This affair was not a roast E. And to be honest McCain, although very stilted in his delivery was very funny as well.
