The King is wistful about His Damned Deluded Legacy.... Oh kiss my ass

Well, give me some Shoes...and I can help with Legacy Enhancement....Sheez, what a Narcisstic Egotistical Deluded Asswipe....sorry but really....Maybe we could make him a Legacy Time Capsule, we could put all kinds of Wonders in it....Katrina Debris, Iraq Rubble and bloody toys,Widow's tearstained hankercheifs...etc etc. In the Meantime go read Fran's Post at Ramblings about Bush's REAL Legacy in Scathing Goodbye and Good Riddance...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And there is Always PINK's "Dear Mr.President" setting the "Legacy" straight....
Speaking of Letters to the President, NEWSGUY is back....and he has a whole Blog Writing Letters...
*blushing* Thanks for the linky.
Thing is with the Bush regime is it difficult to compose a list of ALL that went wrong, I keep thinking of more things to add to the list- warrentless wiretapping, decline to be a part of the International World Court, refusing to sign on to the Kyoto treaty. All the indictments, and scandals. The firing of the judges. Revealing an undercover agent as revenge & the Scooter Libby slap on the hand. Lost e mails. The Walter Reed Vets hospital debacle. Hundreds of thousands of "lost" weapons in Iraq. I bet people can name 50 more serious items in a brainstorm session.
Pink nailed it with this song.
If you get a chance to hear Laura Love- she has a song called *I want you gone*.. a special song for W.
partial Lyrics go
"I'm tired of making it nice
I'm tired of making it sound pretty--
I want you gone, gone gone
gone gone!
And nu-cu-luar is not a word!
Pink is a gas. Used to post her music videos on C&L LNMC. She had it right at a time when voicing an objection to BushCo frequently resulted in death threats and boycotts.
Fran's not too shabby either.
thanks for the New Lyrics...they are good fran...
( Drknow I remember when you used to post PINK over there...that was a lot of fun back then....now it's different there..I rarely comment and the music club is kinda weird too..)
I agree - I lurk around the headlines a bit, but don't post at C&L anymore. Members of the Federalist Society ganged up on me at one point over an issue regarding pay for US Attorneys (imagine that...); their argument was that you had to pay outragous sums of money to insure integrity. I think the current S&L/Banking/SEC scandels we face now pretty much invalidated their argument and cemented mine. You cannot buy integrity.
And there is my goodbye to Bush in my brand new Blog which I have created after much thought. Nothing was working for me until I finally came up with a format that I think will work. I am writing actual open letters to people like Bush and Obama and others. My first letter is to George W. Bush. I plan to actually send copies of the letters by snail mail with my letterhead to each person I write to on my blog. I welcome comments. http://thenewsguysletters.blogspot.com/
Meanwhile, I continue to greatly admire this blog, Nurse, with the photos, the musings and the music. My mind is not quite that complex. I have a primitive mind.
