7:50 AM:::
Have been monitoring Twitter for most of the night. People have started arriving at the Designated Square in past 40 minutes. ( remember they have no real way to communicate of organize and many were unsure for the past 24 hours if March was still on). ( Here in Ohio, wicked storms, so hope my modem stays connected).

the rallies are planned as now. Mousavi's wife has been sending messages out during night.

the Moderate Clerics that origninally organized the rallies for today have pulled out ( real courage there? they must choose between their "supreme leader" and God ? I am confused why they would pull out now...

on twitter last night there were some bogus people saying it was cancelled - but they were outed every time.....

8:20 AM:::

From the Guardian LIVE blog::::
"1.10pm:
The BBC's Jon Leyne, in Tehran, admitted on the World Service that he cannot tell if the rally is actually happening, because of the restrictions on reporting. The Guardian's reporters are in no position to comment either.

1pm:
An unconfirmed Tweet from a usually reliable source says Mousavi is walking from his Ettelaat office to the Ministry of Interior and that 10,000 people are with him.

Photos, claimed to be taken today, show several rows of riot police.

The BBC says its witness have seen hundreds of riot police in Enghelab Square.

Al-Jazeera also reports a heavy police presence, but points out that it is difficult to verify because phones are jammed.

12.35pm:
The opposition rally should have started now, but it is difficult to get credible information out of Iran. There are unconfirmed reports on Twitter of crowds gathering on the streets. One says: "People going to Enghelab [Square] in large numbers and growing rapidly. Police there but not doing anything."

There are also reports that mobile phones are not working in the square, which might help to explain the lack of news.

If you know more please let us know."

they have used bullets too-
video posted over at nico's post....
shot at them from rooftops.

CNN is barely reporting- there is much going on there, video at nico's post show they rounding people up and clubbing them and beating them and then throwing them in cars, also cornering people in allies....

CNN and BBC have not done a good job with this-

BBC Persia is doing a better job. Guardian and Huffpo have most illuminating video.....

there is a rally at CNN HQ and they have not even showed it.....LA and DC having rallies- and they have barely covered...

There was also gunfire near hospitals there- and at the University again as well...and also injured and wounded are being taken to embassies.....and people are pulling them into their homes- supposedly the military is showing up at the hospitals and pulling out the patients- I am worried about the nurses and doctors...

the water cannons were about attempting to damage the cellphones so people could not report- the military is also confiscating cellphones...

Helicopters were dumping something ? chemical ? or hot water ? either way people said it burned...

it is a little different when a Supreme Leader has set his military on his people to shed their blood.....

and the media black out is something...

pretty sad that CNN can 't seem to find Anderson ? all they have on this weekend are the amateurs...very shitty coverage.....

I've checked all your links so far; other links provided by other web-sites who are providing them.

Sadly, it reminds me that democracy has never come without a terrible loss of life and huge price to the people.

Our own history is fraught with wars/revolutions/civil unrest, etc., and our own country probably won't stay free of protest as future issues that are now 'bubbling', will come to a head.

I'm sure some of the reason MSM is not focusing on this, as they know the problems this country's facing right now, and to broadcast the protests, might only invite our own citizens to decide to mimick what's going on in Iran.

We've got a threat from North Korea; reports from Washington Post tell of their potential intent to lob a missile on Hawaii on the 4th of July.

We're still sending troops into Afghanistan and trying to create some stability in Iraq; spreading our forces and energies too thin will wind up creating a stress and tension that lends itself to uprisings and 'hot spots' that I don't think our president feels can be handled amidst our own concerns. Our current recession; the massive amount of debt, the pressures in our own country, might cause people in our own nation to be overcome by what appears a world in crisis, and make rash and dangersous decisions.

I also read about the re-count; I don't think we can assume everything is 'rigged', and if it is, worrying ourselves about it, won't solve the problem.

Mass hysteria in any part of the world, never solves a problem, and those who hold the power and position will continue to punish those who try to change the balance of power.

A calm head is needed in all this; we must not tire ourselves - become sick or worried about issues that are beyond our control.

Happy::
Election was rigged I linked to numerous articles on it- there is no Humanly way to count 40 Million votes in 2 hours BY HAND....ha.....

and the articles I linked to explained in detail it is impossible for Ahmadinehead to have increased his votes by 30 % with three strong competitors, and also that that Math Wizards have already come out and said it was rigged....I provided plenty of data...I know all about how votes are purged ( 2000 and 2004 I had it happen- so I have great compassion for them on this issue- and considering what happened in those two elections- We all should.)

Finally...
what a bunch of hooey about ",we must not tire ourselves etc " Happy- Don't come here and Lecture me...I have spent days trying to make sure that Videos and Messages and Photos were all saved from the Twitter becuase the MSM have not done enough...all of us that are Blogging it- are Blogging it because Iranians are Risking their lives to send the videos and photos....and they need to be heard.

Enjoy your vacation- But don't come here and lecture Anyone that is trying to help people get Their Truth Out....
