Winter Break

This is my street ....this winter....looks lovely with snow...the houses look cleaner, brighter in the snow...and the street seems less empty....less lonely...It has only been sunny about 4 times since New Years....I have had an interesting New Year....cold,flu and sick computers....so I am lying low...trying to get caught up on editing...and get The Book done....I will be back in March...for now I need to get through Winter..and get the Book done....much love and prayers to long time friends....

Gorgeous! 75 degrees here in sunny Southern Cal one day, and 62 the next - the scene you portray here seems wonderful!

Feel better. We've done all the flu viruses this year. Did someone send the "Flu of The Month" Club?

Good luck with the book - I admire your discipline. Enjoyed the blog!

Your street looks so serene, a Normal Rockwell setting. Enjoy your break, Enigma. This winter has been/is a challenge. Feel better. Good luck with your book! You're very disciplined to get so much done.

Take care, friend & know spring is coming. We've had a warm spell (you see the crummy snow in the Vancouver Olympics) I just plucked daffodils in bloom from the yard.... which fricking needs mowing. Neither of us is well enough to mow it this weekend.

So it's always something!

Hope your writing goes well.

Peace, Friend

Good luck with the book and feel better. I'm hanging in there hoping for spring myself. This is one long winter!

Love your neighborhood, reminds me of my own!

What would make you more likely to vote for Democrats in the 2010 elections: If they pass health care reform that includes a public health insurance option but gets zero Republicans votes OR if they pass health care reform without a public option but with some Republican votes?

Nevada: 53% public option, 40% bipartisanship
Illinois: 61% public option, 30% bipartisanship
Iowa: 58% public option, 29% bipartisanship
Washington: 61% public option, 25% bipartisanship
Missouri: 49% public option, 36% bipartisanship
Virginia: 55% public option, 33% bipartisanship
Minnesota: 62% public option, 39% bipartisanship
Colorado: 58% public option, 43% bipartisanship
