STOP THE PROPAGANDA:Boycott the ABC 911 Fake-umentary

I don't know about you but I have had my fill of Propaganda. I have had enough. The Toilet have runneth over with Crap at this point. And now the Anniversary of 911 , instead of being respectful and honor what 1000's have endured since then, ABC has created their own little Special tonight. Shame on them for dishonoring their own employees and News Department by throwing a charade together and calling it a fine work. It is a Shame. Call and write and let them know you are Intelligent, and let them know that they are spineless shallow bastards for spreading LIES on the anniversary on such a Human Tragedy. Oh, but be polite and leave messeges and fax them In Clear Concise English. ABC should not be humping the BUSHCO Propaganda.

The Crapolla really is getting deep, Enigma.

Not surprising though if you listened to the President's radio address on July 8.

In it he outlined the election strategy the Repukes planned to use in the run up to November.

Well just look at the spew that came out on the anniversary of Katrina! Now they have ABC to assist with the garbage. Shameful.

Even better - don't watch. ABC lives on ratings. I'll be watching Manning vs. Manning on football, and I'll bet more people will be watching football tonight than ABCs wish fulfillment video for the bush administration.

Thanks all- yup Football vs. CBS REAL footage....

I am watching the CBS Fireman Doc....so amazing...
I am haunted by the Voices I am missing from that day...
ArronBrown- now gone from CNN- for being honest about Katrina....and then Peter Jennings....the voices of calm that day in a sea of confusion....

E...you were watching the program America was.

I did tune in (before you guys get be for boycott breaker, see my comments back home at Baja)...as a tool of propaganda, it falls way short.

Much as the Republicans would like, demonizing Clinton won't work this time. The people easily swayed by TV need more than this tripe...and it's subtitled when the terrorists are talking!

The right is counting on swaying the dismayed middle...hard to pay attention to written dialog while you're getting your kid to bed...

And who's shoving baby's feet in their PJ's in Podunk, Arkansas, that even remembers who Madelian Albright is or was?

Real Americans are sad...on this anniversary. To me, it is incredibly important to focus on the families who lost a loved one unexpectedly.

I guess we're all getting tired of angry revenge, misdirected. An old rabbi will tell you an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth only leaves everybody blind and toothless...

sign me with a wish for peace,
*m

I refused to watch their "DOCUDRAMA" this evening. I don't need their version of what and how anything came to pass.. The truth is a much better read...and there isn't anything added to give it more drama..

I didn't watch it and I wouldn't have watched it anyway. Just corporate America blowing itself.

I won't say I'm boycotting ABC. I just never watch it--nothing there to interest me. I certainly didn't watch this crap they aired last night, and I haven't heard a thing about it since then. So the interest seems to have fizzled. I previously saw the CBS 9/11 docu, which I thought was very good as well. What I watched last night: Scary Movie 4 (needed a break from the commemorative drivel). The movie isn't all that great, but it has a hilarious spoof of Bush learning that the country was under attack.

I couldn't even watch. I knew I would be a mess afterward. They're heartless morons.

I think people are beginning to catch on. Blaming Clinton is a lame strategy. A lot of Americans may have been dumb enough to "elect" Bush president a couple of times (with a little help from his Daddy's Supreme Court and a fascist crowd of bullies in Florida and election fraud both times). But you really can't fool enough people to sustain this.

Americans are self-centered and too easily manipulated, and they really don't pay enough attention, but Bush has gone too far. He is a loser in Iraq and it is becoming increasingly clear he is a loser in Afghanistan. He can't catch Bin Laden. He has spent more than $300 billion in borrowed money in Iraq on our grandchildrens' credit card. He has shredded the Constitution in so many ways.

People are beginning to notice, this guy is more like a King than a president. And we fought a war to get rid of a King named George, (who by the way was so kookoo he had conversations with trees thinking they were foreign dignitaries and randomly gave out medals of valor to his servants. Say, that's not so different from what we have now).

Oh and don't forget the $3.00 plus gas prices. That has got our attention.

Bush is smart and clever and able to manipulate people and the truth, but otherwise he is not that bright. And it is going to catch up with him. And Cheney bears such a close resemblance to Darth Vader, his ratings are in the single digits. People are disgusted with Cheney. He makes people hurl. And the Bush folksy act is beginning to get very frayed around the edges.

The Dems ain't that great, but at least we have the Fighting Dems running for Congress, a whole platoon of them, and I think we are going to take Congress back in November and relegate Bush to the dustbin of history. His last two years he will be just marking time until he collects the retirement check.

Or with any luck getting his sorry ass hauled before Congress in Impeachment Hearings. A guy can dream, can't he?

at least when i walked by - i work on a college campus - the student union today - the people speaking were telling the 'whole' truth and not the government lies...

The path to 9-11 is littered in ruin and failed leadership from January 2001 onward... They know it and they choose to try and change history to meet their plans and methinks they will hit a wall on this trip... Let us hope. The trailer I saw will only appeal to Bush wingbats with no sense of decency and maybe even a few Nascar Dads, but certainly not all of them. Stranger things have happened so we will have to wait and see... Drat.

ABC? Wasn't that like a Jackson 5 song? ;)

I never watch ABC either...or CBS, or NBC...except for football, which ABC gave up.

If you really want to hurt them, don't watch any of the new shows. Hurt them where their money comes from: The advertisers.

If you are addicted to one of the old shows, this won't disturb your viewing, but if the new shows flop, it will really hurt.

OK, I boycotted it. Now what?
