My Yule blessings...wishes....Peace: “Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make, Something you do, Something you are, And something you give away.”~Robert Fulghum

Here is some more information about the rare convergence of Solstice and the Eclipse,so rare and hopefully one that can be viewed by many.Overcast bitter cold wintry day, and sadly no sky or moon visible. Great day for soup, but not for viewing the Eclipse sadly. So here is some music to help with bringing in the Solstice.....And you can read more about the Winter Solstice Traditions. I have Curry soup cooking, sandalwood and cedar incense filling the house, and mulberry and vanilla candles lit.....Many Yule Wishes to everyone...Much peace.

Beautiful, Allie. I love all the music videos, all my faves, love the photo, and especially love all the scents you have going on at your place. I wanna come over and have some curry soup!!!!!! Wish I could teleport myself:)Enjoy the solstice.......the last two nights have been clear, and I saw the full moon with an orange circle around it. Am hoping I may get to see the eclipse. It is raining now, so may not be able to........take good care. Hope your little family is doing okay and that things are going better for them.

I too wish good things for my son and for the Iraqi family....I hope they find some peace and some joy in the coming year...I have shared all the good wishes from here with them...and done my best.....but much of it is up to the Fates now...but I still send prayers and Light....

It's raining here in the Pacific NW (big surprise!)... so right now all we see is *clouds*, but we can send our good wishes & meditations for unity regardless of the weather. I too have candles aglow & the tree illuminating the room.
Interesting how the dark/cold makes us react by shining our light & bringing on the warmth.

The world could in fact use more of that.

Blessed solstice to you.

we saw nothing but white cloudy sky all night. still, our hearts were filled with good cheer (god willing and flood don't rise ... yes our rivers have jumped the banks and flooding).
