It is a Long and Winding Road....I used to think that phrase was so trite...I don't anymore....we have all been on this Road together, it has not really been Rational , but it surely has been emotional...But it is the Road that we are on....to Something Better...to Change...

HILLARY IS MATHMATICALLY CHALLENGED ,IT HAS LEFT HER WITH SOME MAGICAL THINKING AND WITH A BROKEN PIGGY BANK....

NUMBERS.......IT'S ALL ABOUT MATH....HILLARY 'S MIGHT BE FUZZIER THAN GEORGE'S.
At this Point , she can Not Win Honestly, or even with Magical Spells or Math Wizarding Wonders......
So here we are two days after the Explosive Primaries of the Tuesday Night. The numbers and the momentum of these past few weeks, are impressive, and they show that Obama has been able to bring all kinds or diverse peoples together, and the numbers reflect this strength. Her Refusal to look at these numbers or acknowledge what they mean is insulting. She goes from state to state disenfranchising one group after another, and she is alienating people and voters and states.She basically is trying to dirty Obama, even if it just by insinuation. This is NOT good strategy before facing McCain in the Fall, and the numbers do not support her forging ahead. And after the campaign she has run, damaging people state by state, there is much healing to do. Whether anyone can SHOW her the Math is another story. Obama has brought more New Voters to the party, more money, more voters, and more state, and more Red States.Obama has had Momentum even while facing diversity.

WHERE IS SHE GETTING HER MONEY ????
We learned AGAIN that she loaned her campaign Money, a big amount again, it actually sounds like she lent herself money over and over in April, 6.5 Million total. It also says that people were not giving last month, even after she won Pennsylvania, even thought she said that she had Huge Donations the day after the Primary. ( It shows she was being dishonest again). I would like to know WHERE she is getting her Money ? ls Bill Giving her money from his Library or Foundation Funds ? I used to get Newsletters and reports and updates from the Clinton Foundation, because I supported this Foundations' AIDS work, I worry, was I really giving to a Fund that would be used later to support Hillary's Campaign Run? It's very odd, but as soon as I started supporting Obama, I was pretty much dropped from ALL Clinton Foundation Mailings. I think the DEM leadership needs to Closely Examine the Books and the Monies and WHERE they are from.( I would hate to find out later that the Clinton Foundation that does such good work globally is also funding her campaign.)

Another issue that is attached to the Monies, if she wants to be President, could we trust her to manage OUR money ? And Make good decisions about budgets and HOW money is spent ? Could we trust her to tell us the Truth about the Money Situation ? I don't have any good answers to these questions.

AID to Burma has been beleagered with troubles,The Military Junta has blockaded most aid, although they were willing to let Petrol in.They have not been willing to admit the enormity of this event, or that aid is needed in a huge region. People interviewed on BBC and Aussie TV, Canadian TV, have not seen any aid arriving even to the more accessible regions. 100,000 are estimated to be dead, and 2 million homeless, this a Major Castastrophe. If you have even an extra $10, you can help feed a family or contribute to medical care, drinking water, or a tent. Sadly the Monks and Monastaries who always help in such an emergency have been weakened substantially, so that source of AID has indeed been drastically damaged. ( After the Tsunami the monks and monastaries were a integral source of support to the survivors , providing shelter, food and medical care).The Monks in Burma , in reduced numbers are trying to help the people, but they have limited resources, food and supplies.

It was an Amazing Night. Obama did a beautiful job in Both States.
Obama won North Carolina with 15 % lead, I have final numbers posted in the Comments thread below.

Less than a half hour ago, the MSNBC and CNN declared Clinton the winner of Indiana, it was and is still very close less than 2%, of 1,252,759 votes cast there. ( Provisionals and Absentees were and are still being counted). All Counts are posted in the Comment thread below. If you get a chance do watch Obama's Speech from last night on Huffpost and listen to him, he is offering Hillary an Olive Branch, a chance to Unite Our Party.

HuffPost ran the headline of the night at 1am " Obama Presumptive Nominee".

Hillary has cancelled all her appearances in the am, and she does have a Fundraiser Event planned and she is still attending that. It was revealed this eve by Russert that she did again lend her campaign money this month.

BURMA SUFFERS DEVASTATING CYCLONE.....

It is amazing just monthes ago Burma was suffering a Military crackdown and we saw troops everywhere rounding up the Monks....It is now monthes later and the people of Burma are suffering a huge Disaster, and the troops are barely visible. ( And the monks who usually are omnipresent in such a crisis are barely visible as well). This Cyclone struck all regions are around the Bay of Bengal, so getting aid to the region will be difficult. Atleast 10,000 are dead, roads are washed out and Communication is limited at best. Click the title for Phone Interview from the Rangoon Region.

When I first started blogging in the summer of 2005, I never knew where it would lead and how long I would blog.
I want to thank everyone that has come here over the years and read my posts and left comments and thoughts and insights.
I am very grateful for your wisdom and thoughtful support and amazing humor.I have blogged a wide range of things...Politics to Everyday Life to Journaling Our Times (Katrina, Plamegate, Gonzogate,Fires,Burma, Tibet,Dead heroes, soup and pie, and Iraq and the cost of food to PTSD...). You have let me rant about Bushco to share pieces of my life. I started the Blog the Summer of 2005 thinking that Bush and his Cronies would at some point face Scrutiny and Justice for their criminal activities.....I am still waiting.

I grew up during the Nixon years, hooked on the Wapo story of Crime and Conspiracy, convinced that Real Journalists can change the Course of History by Investigating and Writing the Truth. I was fascinated that a Leader could get caught in his own lies. I grew up thinking that another Watergate Summer would come and bring Justice. I have included a photo here of the Watergate...hideous Landmark that it is.
I lifeguarded there one summer,as a sub, it is Moldy disgusting building, it has a certain kind of Smell. For years I had saved my Towels from there.The Events of the Nixon years shaped me...and yes in many ways made me an Enigma.

In Seattle and San Fran they joined with Students to Protest the War and the War Profiteering....This war has created a Land of Haves and HaveNots, where Certain Peoples have indeed made money off the War....and I think we can call that Blood Money.

When Bush and his Criminal Gang are tried for War Crimes, I hope they can decorate his cell with that Damn Banner.

This man is one of greatest leaders in the world, there is much we can learn from him and much that can inspire us. We are a Country where hundreds of thousands are on Watch Lists, and NO FLY Lists, and have been denied the right to communicate with those in other lands, travel and have been spied on illegally. He fought a Horrible Regime in South Africa, and suffered for that Struggle. He was imprisoned for his Leadership of the Protest Regime, as a lawyer and supporter of Ghandi's philosophy of nonviolence, but his group did finally arm themselves...this change in strategy did lead to his arrest...and imprisonment for 27 years. Many great Lawyers and Political Activists were imprisoned and killed. Eventually there was Regime Change , partially because there was change in Leadership...it took many years, and in 1990 he finally liberated. Then he rose to leadership, and under policies of Reconcilliation and Healing, he was able to finally bring Regime Change in the 1990s to South Africa.

I take this matter Very Seriously.....I am on Watch Lists because I fought a Large Chemical Company, as a nurse, as a mom. I fought the Company by exposing their Criminal Activities to the Government, the Federal Government. My Mighty Weapon was a PEN ( and a computer ). I let the Federal Government KNOW that millions of pounds of Dangerous Contaminants and Hazardous Substances were being dumped on families in the Northwest and I documented the Dumping and the Damage to the people.And as a way of Thanking me for my Concerns I was placed on Lists by the Bush Regime.It means I can not Fly. It means that when I shipped my belongings from the West Coast, that Homeland Security went through my Pods. My Belongings were rifled through, and things were stolen, clothes and shoes, and BOOKS. My Science books, my books on religion and Buddha, and Ghandi, and yes , books on MLK, Robert Kennedy, and yes even my Mandela Books. My Grandmother shared the same birthday as Mandela, those books she gave me were precious.Books on History, Freedom and Regime Change.

MICHEAL MOORE EXPOSES SELLOUT HILLARY CLINTON ON HEALTHCARE

I know that I have been beating Healthcare issues like a dead horse ...BUT......that is the way of it. As a Nurse I have to focus on this issue, it is too important , 50 Million People without Healthcare is a Crisis.

So MORE Questions about Hillary's Health Plan :::

(1) IF She is SO GOOD at the Health Care Plan- WHY did she bomb so bad in the 1990's....and could it be because she had relationships with Drug Companies and Insurance Companies ?

(2) People need to ask her WHY 10% of their Income is an Acceptable Cap Amount ( I have seen her say this on campaign speechs on CSpan)

(3) HOW Much do the Senators pay for the Socialized Medicine they recieve ? Which Companies provide their Federal Coverage, and couldn't that coverage be expanded for ALL ?

(4) IF she does believe in Universal Healthcare for All, Should people with Medical Conditions and Pre-existing Conditions
have to pay MORE than everyone else ? ( or should they just be denied like they are now ?) And Companies that Cancel Coverage on people- shouldn't they be Penalized ?

(5) Would Medical Bureaucrats be Making the Decisions ? or would Medical people be able to Consult and work on the Changes ? ( because Nurses and real doctors in the Field were not consulted last time).

(6) Is HER Plan about MANDATORY INSURANCE....VS. Universal Healthcare, there is a BIG difference...Remember that.
