The Sun is trying to poke through frosty morning clouds here....I think all of us are seeking Warmth...and Light...for me that comes in strange ways...a lovely gift of an unexpected weekend phone call from a friend...SNL and fresh home made ( UN-Burned ) cookies with 6-6...watching the Birds at the feeder lined up ready for the day....and there is snuggling with a warm dog who snores as she sleeps next to her favorite cat....or laying in bed watching videos with a giant mug of tea....It is the small things, the little things that sooth the soul....

'A picture is worth a thousand words' is certainly true of these scenic gifts. It certainly puts one in a meditative and appreciative mood for those wonderful retreats from some of the harsh realities in this world.
