Today the top three posts are dedicated to Peace.Many of us could not be there, but we were there in Spirit.
( and we did spend alot of the weekend writing and calling the Media to cover the March.)
Two fine bloggers that we know and love were there Robert and Mary.Please go to "Get Your Own" and "Left of Centrist" over on the Blogroll.Both have wonderful writeups and photos, and Robert has made some amazing YouTube Videos.
At Some Point we need to figure out How to get the Dumass MSM back....because for the sake of We The People we need this Media Black Out to End.

I just popped into say hello, wow there are a lot of us, smaller folks who really care what is going down. Thanks E for coming by Notes. Thanks for all the work all you do for Peace and to get the truth out.
The MSM will always alway ignore the truth ,and reconcilation pro peace agenda..why because it is ....wait for the answer..corporately owned by corps that profit off war..this has been the model since at least WW2. ok that being said. We need to get out there of course BUT we also need to work outside of the system..starve the monster system as much as we can with going GREEN and living Sustainably and forming our own locale economies and affinity groups..we are not gonna be able to change this system from within...it just ain't gonna happen.
If i had stocks or even a 401K i would divest. buy a prius,(if i had that kind of dough) if not check out which funds are Mother Jones approved. Until we crash ,we cannot rebuild..we have to shut it down -really I say this from decades of LGBT activism..and trying to change things fromm the inside..but proud you say things have changed there and pretty fast when u think about it.....well, yes and no.
See Human Rights, economic justice, and issues of Peace should be a no brainer, why in this supposedly great democracy do we have to fight tooth and nail for these simplesst of concepts? .......lets save the "why" answer for another day. Besides most of us know why..Money and rich becoming richer..and an over reaching Empire..for starts..
Proud P: thanks....that was quite a response- and I appreciate it...but the issue is that even for Vietnam we had the Media then..and now we have nothing....except blogs and the internet...and that is dangerous in any country.....and we have Millions of People being disenfranchised by their own Country- OUR Country....we need to figure out HOW to get OUR country back...and until these Criminals in the WH are prosecuted- I worry out Country will never ever recover...And if we don't end the War, then we can not possibly ever be respected internationally...
I produced a daughter who became a journalist...and she's not "one of those Fox News type journalist". So that's my contribution to peace. I know...it's a stretch, but it's all I have.
Mary Ellen- I am proud to know you...and that you raised a daughter that has become a REAL journalist...that is so important today and no, not in any way a stretch.....that matters you nurtured our most important resource....Our Youth...and she followed your teachings...

We have been a police state for some time know and it is only going to get worse I believe.
If two or three guards or police officers can't handle one person without resorting to that type of violence than they shouldn't be police officers or guards.
I never use to be afraid of being pulled over in traffic if I might have broken the law {speeding, no left turn, roll through stop sign} etc....
Now though I fear of being tasered or shot by a trigger happy cop.
And I come from a family where my uncle was a thirty year veteran of the Chicago Police Force.
That says a lot about where our country is now from what it use to be.
The people better wake up soon because by the time they do they won't be able to leave the country to escape a police state regime.
No fly or train list name keeps you here if your on it. Just something to think about.
