Me: Girl takes pic of herself every day for three years
I was really struck by this piece it is really well made, and slightly disturbing. Is she changing ? Is she the same? Does three years pass that fast ? Sometimes it does....Did any of us think that three years ago Bush would STILL be President? ( ugh...or was that Dictator ? Head Thief ? Criminal King ?) Did anyone think we would still be there in Iraq ? Think about it...Summer 2003 where were you...what were you doing ?

That was really well done. Is she continuing the project? It would be interesting to see after 5 or better yet 10 years.
2003, that was a good year - bless my wife and her well paying job - the Bastard got to take some time off while we were living in South Florida - A state ran by Jeb being the only down side.
Very interesting...her lips never moved, like Mona Lisa smile did she...her hair moved though...so I guess that means she was alive and all. Heh heh! Thanks for the link...don't miss the new post...it is a strange one...even for me.
I think it's kinda interesting how she shows health, stress, relaxed - all the day-to-day states of being throughout the years. Kinda says, all things pass and you're still here. As for the political picture, damn - it better change or, or, or I don't know what we will evolve into!
That was fascinating. There really were a lot of changes from hair to glasses on or off, but the clear message is that so much happens while we think we are doing nothing. Time literally flies by and life is what happens while you are making plans.
This may be at the heart of why the past is so much clearer to the elderly than the present. It all went by so rapidly that it can only be perceived in the rear view mirror.
JAMIE: I loved what you said...and wow so true about Rea View Mirror theory....
PEACECHICK: yup the day to day...and about Bushco-who knows what happens next....
SUMO: that is so interesting about the Mona Lisa part- you are right the lips never moved- fascinating.
BB: 5 or 10 years that would be so cool....sounds like 2003 was a good year...and about Jeb....this too shall pass....
KVATCH: You're right her face does change over time..
I found the Clinton bj clip at Educational Whisper and the guy who does it is Eric Schwartz.
POP..thanks for giving me the name- I probally won't post on the Clinton post anyway- sorry if I seemed bossy/pushy...I also have some friends I need to send that song to- to cheer them up...sorry to be a pest ..thank you again...
Not just her mouth, but her EYES never changed expression. how does one achieve that dead look every day for 3-YEARS?!? I'm thinking perhaps this is the look bush/cheney/rove think we should ALL be sporting, not just their hardcore 33% base.
Summer 2003, umm, wasn't that when we had just heard "mission accomplished" & were all celebrating? or maybe we spent the summer stunned by the codpiece-performance-art we had just witnessed. D.K.
It was interesting and certainly unique. Personally I didn't think she changed physically over that period, but then again it all went by so quickly. I hope she continues that "project". What would really be neat is to see someone do this from say, age 21 to age 71. Asking too much, aren't I? :)
Thanks for sharing that!
I do well to remember what I was doing five minutes ago.
That video is fascinating. I'll have to watch it again. The oldest just came in to show me a cat (our cat) that I had seen 20 times so far today.
Very well done but spooky in her lack of expression. I also hope she keeps it up for a longer period of time though. A ten year span would be really interesting.
Loved the Chinese New Year post by the way. Belated wishes for a properous and peaceful year to all.
Granny, Libby and Chuck...
Thanks for coming by...and yeah, I hope that she does keep doing it...it is fascinating in kind of a creepy way...
Summer of 2003... I was celebrating BabyGirl's 1st birthday, trying to lose those remaining pregnancy pounds that just seem to migrate to your booty or thighs instead of go away, and trying to make sense of the war in Iraq that I knew was a complete crock of shit before it was launched that spring.
interesting indeed
as the changes we see are her physcial changes and not who she is inside..we only get a glimpse of that..
thanks for sharing!!
TINA: good for you - you kept it in perspective- baby girl and War...it is all so real isn't it? It all matters...
AZ: it is an odd video- and it is amazing how you really don't see much of her...
