Monday Night Thoughts....12.10.07

***************************************
I am still working on this "Job Thing"...I will hopefully have some things resolved by later in the week, it has been quite a saga.I will blog it when it is resolved, believe me. I am so grateful for everyone's nice messeges and kind thoughts. Tomorrow I am blogging about the Obama Oprah events of the Weekend. ( And I have an Oprah story that I am finally sharing...so please do come back). And Wednesday 's Post is "How Dumb is Dana" ( nonfictional comedy dedicated to Dana Perino) and a Blog Round Up.. And In the Meantime, as a Huge Chunk of the Country is gripped by Icey Winter Hands....It is a soup , garlic bread night here....as we await our end of the Storms.

And yes...the trees on my street look just like this....eerily elegant.

This is my favorite Christmas Song.....Click the Title, it is the song" I believe in Father Christmas" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. This is the Live version by Greg Lake.....( over at the ENIGMA CAFE site I have Another version with Art of the same song...)

Peace....namaste.

Is it just me Enigma, or have things been eerily quiet lately?

I hope you are enjoying your snow...we have just rain and stinging wind here. I like snow better.

Have a good night!

Oh, I KNEW you would have something good cooking over at your house. Yum! Save me some. I'm looking forward to reading your posts this week.

Stay warm!

Don't give up hoping for a job. As the saying goes "it won't rain always."

Best wishes on the job thing. I think looking for work & going through all that is more difficult than actual work. Still you have to Zen it out-- trust that the right job or placement will come together for you as it should be. I know it's hard when the bills keep coming in the meantime.

Hey, Enigma, I envy you the snow. I lived in Edmonton for three years and I just loved the winters (although after seven months they were a bit long).

Good luck with your job hunting. Take the attitude they'll be lucky to have you! Cheers.

Got my fingers crossed for you on the job thang. Be careful in all that ice & snow. Dumb Dana -- can't wait for that!

I'll keep my fingers crossed on that job thing, too.

You look like you have a great round-up coming along. I'll be back.

Peace.

they did a good job with that song, I love that song. There are so many that do the heart good I wouldn't want to have to pick a favorite.

Dana is too dumb for words. She had no clue what the Cuban Missile Crisis was. I think she was selected for her job because she is a cute, dumb blonde. I'm sure she is very familiar with Lord & Taylors though.

Have you been to NYC yet? If not, let me know when you will be in town. You may have done so already but I think I am suffering from Oldtimers Disease, sigh....

Great pic, as they all are. Did you take them?

Deud: soooo good to see you....I have not been down to New York...between crackedstressfratcatured ankle, the infernal job hunt, and a broken heater, I have been up here by the Great Lakes ( maybe in the spring though...I am going to try)......and the picture- oh how I wish I did take it...

Patriot: ahhhh and HOW dumb is she? at this rate I would be willing to find out.....

PP: I too have a good feeling, and have been working it hard...( it has been the hardest hunt I have EVER had, and I have been working since I was 15....and as nurse, I have never had trouble like this....but Hospitals have been Big Mac'd, that is what I think)....

Daniel: ohhhh Canada....NOW Edmonton- THAT is snow....

Larry: thanks..you made me laugh...being a NWester I LOVE the Rain....so I will prevail....esp. in the rain;-)

Josie: I always have Something cooking...always...( and sometimes burning..) But what is mine is yours...always...because I share it all- the good and the bad- but if I have extra soup, grab a bowl...

Anok: isn;t it true....so quiet....but it is winter...so I guess some of that is the winter....but it still is eerie...
