Summer Daze.....

*********************************
Some of the Posts below written are with a heavy heart....I have been spending alot of time pondering Our Broken Status, Our Compassion Famine.

But I also know that it is Summer....play with the children in your life, laugh with them, and Share Wonders with them.....whether it be the cool tingle of the Tides, the gritty sand, or Sticky S'Mores,let them know they are loved....treasured.

If you have time today stop over at "Sirens Chronicles" on the blogroll, and wish Dusty and Betmo "Happy Blogday"....it is a Year Old today.....Also stop by and see Robert at Let of Centrist, he has a new Commentary Youtube up...Have a good day....share your lemonade.

Betmo I've known a few years. A nice person, who is growing politically.

dearest E.. sorry to hear you feel heavy hearted.. it's the season and it must change or well, turn. I had a moment in the past week or so (don't remember exactly) to check out the Sirens and they did indeed did an awesome job. I remember how it used to look like, kudos guys.
Also, speaking of kids. As my youngest is getting older and reacts less (she's five) and she's pretty funny and engaging like some little girls can be. I laid down next to her in bed for a few minutes just enjoying listening to her and looking at her 'wooptie' nose (like a ski slope-'woop!' hehe) and thought I was just perfectly content in that moment. Considering I've had my moments with her thinking, how can this child be so different from the first!! (who was easy going and certainly no 'miss thing' aside from the fact that he's a boy lol)
so it's that season, it turned. I'm having more moments of feeling that tickly happy feeling inside than the sheer exasperation of a strong willed child making me sleep deprived on top of it all..
The political season will turn, it has to. No one can stay at one end of the pendulum for too long..well, the majority of people can't. It's time for it to turn our way plain and simple..
hope you got the doodoo sorted out with the IRS.. I remember you said you were going to work on that..
take care dearest E and here's a virtual hug..times will change E...

hugs
Ingrid

I feel so disconnected from things that are happening around us here in the US lately. The woman who laid on the floor of the ER waiting room and died whilst at least half a dozen employees saw her there is the worst thing I have witnessed in a long time. It makes me so damn depressed.

Oh, and Enigma, you were part of the original crew that helped get Sirens Chronicles off the ground. Do not minimize your role in our group blog m'dear. :)

You are one of the founding sista's too!

Dusty::
thank you....for what you said....hmmm, about the video..I am stunned...saddened..worried...

Ingrid::
thank you for your thoughts as always...Children have a way of keeping us focused...I loved when my son was small...the days exploring and sharing and learning....that is a sacred time, and it goes so so fast....good for you for savoring and nurturing that time....I appreciate what you say...and I watch people helping each other, sandbag at the floods, and people helping each other in the Fire Zones in Cali....so I KNOW there are pockets of Humanity....and that helps...but I am still worried about the Humanity Famine....
