Because there's no public, single payer health plan and Obama is talking from both sides of his mouth. Where in the hell is his leadership? Brilliant oratory is not enough.
to be honest I did not see the whole town meeting- the NC one- litterally CSPAN only showed about 10 minutes, and then cut away- he was explaining HOW a public works...but then I switched to MSNBC and Sebelius was talking about " a CO OP "..NOT the Public Option - I was pissed..
and MSNBC and CNN did not show either town hall meeting- and see I think they don't want us to see the AUDIENCE- because watching the audience tells where the Public is on this...
We need Obama;s oratory skills because he can be persuasive...BUT...if he is not pushing the Public Option.....forget it...52 Million Americans and Millions of others UnderInsured will be left with Nothing.....absolutely nothing...
I am mostly really frustated with our elected reps and with the media- they are all enabling the Corporate Insurance companies...when was the last time we saw an ad on TV for Insurance...???they don't want us having access- it is that simple..they want us dead and gone..
Thousands die per year with NO care....and we call ourselves a Developed country...
The public option is still on the table.. I wish people would quit thinking it isn't.. they may call it something different.. hell who cares what they call it.. as long as it works correctly.. Time has an interview with Pres. Obama and shows it and he talks about it..
So, it is there. I too wish they would show it, but they are back to the He is spreading himself too thin and out there too much, doing too much and on tee vee too much.. so that's why they aren't showing it.. that's what they were saying on MSNBC... bunch of crap if you ask me.
