I have been sitting here battling Blogger trying to post....but also watching too many Iraq Videos, and working on the Marlboro Man post....wrestling with my own mind....I can not believe it is FIVE fucking years....how did this happen...I remember like it was yesterday...

I've been having trouble sleeping the last two nights - jet lag! I should've logged on while you were up!
That was the Perfect accompaniment to Obama's speech. I turned up my volume and toned down Miles to hear the Senator's words more clearly, then played the Davis piece a 2nd time. By the end that round, I didn't even notice when it was over, I was so engaged in the speech.

Such a speech only comes once a Lifetime...I am convinced....it was amazing....and after his words ...somehow Instrumental seemed the right music...
