The horrible Truth About McCain's Shameless HealthCare Plan
Update this am 10.5.08
This Articale is being read this morn, after the Debate it began to be recognized how badly folks will fare under McBush's Terrible "health" plan.... Read More here and Below...

If you know anyone who is voting for McCain ( click the title) , please do share this article with them. There are an estimated 47-49 Million people with NO Healthcare in this Country, they are not just lacking "insurance", they are also lacking CARE. This includes women and children., atleast 10 Million Women and Children. The Numbers for Underinsured vary, but over 20 Million was the last one I saw, and then those impoverished with Medical Debt is atleast another 10 Million and more Bankruptcies every day. But there is another Number that is worrisome and harder to find. How Many are dying daily due to Lack of Care and Insurance ? And Why aren't we talking about it ?

IF you want to read more this Weekend, McCain 's REAL Healthcare plan is in Contingencies Magazine, it is beyond scary....We all know that McCain supported Deregulated Loans and Housing and NOW he furious about how the Feds are re-engaged this week with those markets and Bailouts, Well, do read this article, it also shows he IS OUT OF TOUCH- he has NOT a clue that millions are Under- insured and Lacking Healthcare....

I am worried about the uninsured & underinsured, but also all those people who currently have health ins through their employers. They think they are safe. If McC has his way with a health ins tax credit, you can bet employers will no longer be providing health ins for employees. They won't have to because the tax credit lets them off the hook. And if you think trying to choose between a few different health ins options that your employer has previewed, try deciding between thousands of plans ON YOUR OWN. You'd have to take those policies to a lawyer to do a real comparison. And that's assuming you don't have one of those pesky pre-existing conditions that make you uninsurable. What McCain is promising will leave every single person at the mercy of giant insurance companies. And you can bet the only ones who'll be offering health ins for less than $5K (the McC tax credit amount) will be for the barest bones of coverage. In fact, I predict that health insurance premiums will dramatically INCREASE under McC's "plan". OK, I've grumbled enough.

very thoughtful DK..and no you can grumble all you want- all of us are...this is a nightmare...everything you said above is true..and we all know it...sadly.

The short & snarky answer is Hey! We have corporations to bail out- we have no money for health care. DK is right-- they will find every excuse in the book to omit & avoid paying. Insurance companies are not regulated and the health care industry has no reasonable caps on what they charge either.

Seems like the name of the game is the medical services & doctors charge the sky high maximum, then take a insurance writeoff to something more reasonable. Healthcare is not a luxury- dammit!

healthcare should be a right- maybe we should pursue making it an amendment in the Constitution....yeah....
