Aaaah, beautiful ... I was hoping you'd find a good photo! CNN finally showed him speaking, but only the crowd immediately around him. 100K is amazing ... biggest number he's drawn, even bigger than the 80K at Denver!

Meanwhile, McCain was in NC blabbing about Joe the Prick & how Obama would give a tax cut to people who don't pay taxes. He is ALL WRONG (of course!) but his angry crowd is screaming like maniacs (maniacs who need tax lessons, but I've stopped giving free advice).

It's wonderful!! I posted the pic too, I was so inspired by the HUGE version of it on HuffPo.

People really REALLY want change!

And all those MAJOR endorsements yesterday.

So inspiring.

In sharp contrast, McLame is still inciting near-riots with his brain-dead illiterate low-lying fruit. Must suck to be him.

That really speaks volumes about what's really going on. I read an excerpt of his speech. It was just as good as that picture.

175K!?!??!?! Hold on, I can't breathe! And MO is a swing state w/McC currently leading!

Ha Ha I'll just bet parking was a bitch !!

Nurse speaking of pictures, if you haven't seen those weird photos of McCain with his tongue sticking out of his face, I have found two of them. One by Reuters, the other from an unnamed source. These pictures from the immediate conclusion of last Wednesday's debate are just impossible to explain.

So 6-6 and I watched SNL..really strange show...one of the strangest I have ever seen...and then...the show just ended...BUT not like any other show...No goodbye or anything...then there is some weird show on extreme video show- here in Ctown we always have Apollo...always...

really strange....

I guess I will watch CSI ...

Anyone else watch SNL???

Whatever the number...it is fan-freaking-tastic. I am stoked & so happy to see this landslide presence.

How cool you & 6'6 will go to DC for the inauguration
WHEN the big O becomes president.

I'm thinkin' positively here.

me2 Fran...me2..I have promised him we will get there to watch President Obama be sworn in....

I know there is alot of negative stuff going on...with the registrations etc....BUT I also know there was a Tsunami in 2006....and many new voters did show up to the polls and were counted....and it made a difference......

Deep Breath...much HOPE..

It's not on for another 1/2 hour for me, sorry. Perhaps I can stay up. Right now I'm watching CNN's equivalency of a Biography Channel episode on Palin. It's so barf-worthy.

enigma4ever said...

yuck..I would not bother....about SNL it was so strange..not funny ...at all really...strange....and why there was no ending...I will try to find out...

hang in there...

HelenWheels said...

Did it come on early in the show or later?

That's all I gotta know. Probably no matter because at this point, I"ll probably fall asleep w/in the next 45 mins. I'm already past regimented bed time (I know)

Didn't watch it, but Huffpost has a clip of Sarah from the very beginning, and then from weekend update. I don't think she felt any love.

HelenWheels said...

I'm there now (huffpo). LOL, sounds like 'bomb'

thanks ladies :)

HelenWheels said...

Well I just saw the beginning, and am surprised Alec Baldwin did that but he IS a nutjob even if a liberal (of sorts; the guy is pretty sexist).

Feh.

Same with the movie "W."

Feh. It was OK but if any of you are going to see it, I'd like to hear what you think.

D.K. Raed said...

And oh what a surprise, that Steven Baldwin is her favorite! Gah! That other clip of Sarah popping in on Weekend Update was so odd, I don't know what to make of it. She grinned like a hyenna when the guy in the moose costume was "shot".

Helen, I wanted to see W, but none of my local theatres are showing it yet. You are the 2nd person now to say it wasn't much of movie.

HelenWheels said...

You know what, I think it's totally worth seeing. Josh Brolin fucking NAILED the shrub, and it is a good movie. I just had picky Virgo problems with it, but I think you would all enjoy it to some extent.

And who can pass up Richard Dreyfus doing CHENEY!! It is worth seeing. It's not earth-shattering but it is good.

HelenWheels said...

And, Stephen Baldwin is a fucking idiot.

D.K. Raed said...

yeaay, Helen, another virgo! We virgos are tough critics! I go to museum art shows & criticize the picture frames!

Hairball said...

This was *so* nice to see after watching that clip Gryphen has up about the guy with the 'Obama ghost' in his yard. Ugh!

Early voting starts here on the 20th and ends on the 31st and they will even be open on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th. Cool!

I am so proud of my home state. We are going blue for the 1st time in years and years this time. I have just have the feeling. Yeah I am from MO, the show me state and we sure showed em yesterday didn't we?? That was awesome. I so wanted to go, but just not up to facing those kind of crowds. But I am so happy and proud of our Obama for drawing those kinds of people to him. He is very inspiring.

God Bless you guys for all you do.

A truly beautiful sight! We are part of a truly awesome country, it is so awesome to be inspired and come together - we can do great things hand in hand and strong!

I've been tearing up a lot - too often it's been tears of sadness when I hear of the ugliest coming out from the McCain campaign (I posted about my mom's trip to the south and the ugliest she saw there)....

but when seeing a photo like this I have only tears of joy. Which I also had when I watched Meet the Press and Colin Powell endorses Obama.

We can make the dream real!

HelenWheels said...

OMG, the Powell thing coming out the same weekend as "W"... well, when you see the movie, you'll love the juxtaposition.

D.K. - ha!I knew there was something about you I liked! LOL!

I've read that one of the reasons some men gave for being against giving women the right to vote, was that women would just vote for whichever man was the most handsome.

Everyone knows that a man would never do something so foolish. clicky
