I have trouble to with videos mostly youtube videos. It seems that there is an issue with flash player that started with the last update of version 9.124 I believe.
I use Firefox and it is a known issue posted on Firefox's bug page.
As far as I know it has not been fixed yet and it appears that's it's an Adobe issue who now owns Micro Media Flash Player.
I hear that it also causes problems on other browsers as well, however not as much on Internet Explorer. I refuse to use Microsoft's Internet Explorer as its much more vulnerable to hacks and viruses.
Let me guess though and see if I am right. The video starts and stops after 2 seconds while the bar continues to show it running. Also there is no audio at all.
If I find a solution I will post it here for you.

....I had to reload Adobe and do a safari update....and I can not use Firefox at all....I also have to unload Cookies daily....I don't know if any of those ideas would help...
