SHOCK AND SHAME, TIME TO END THE WAR CRIMES AND ILLEGAL OCCUPATION OF IRAQ

*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
An Illegal Ruler heard UnGodly Evil Voices in his head telling him to go to War, and so the Nation, Our Country launched an Illegal War based on Lies of This Regime. Millions have been killed and been Wounded and had their lives Altered Forever. The Damage is Immeasurable. Our Government and Leadership assisted, enabled and enacted this Evil Plan, and it is Time to End 5 years of Hell. It is time for New Leadership to Listen to Wisdom, and listen to WE THE PEOPLE, and Make Plans to End this Illegal Occupation. We the People are the ONLY ones that can End this Insanity and End the War Crimes and the Torture. The Whole World is Depending on Us to get this Right, there are NO Second Chances. We owe it to the World, to the Children and Women, and families we have harmed, and to the VETS and their Families.Time to End the Shock and Shame of this Regime. The Whole World is Watching.

Not Enough Tears. Not Enough Shame.

It is only the US (admin/military)fighting a war now. Other countries involved have moved on to reconstruction - real reconstruction not the Halliburton variety.
One of our military leaders said this week that US military personnel have never engaged with the people, won't even lower the windows of the troop carriers to say g'day.
Withdrawing US troops from Iraq and Afghanistan would serve the world well right now.

End the war? What, and miss out on all that lovely money and oil?

This is traitorous talk! Guantanamo Bay is waiting. Orange suits. Waterboarding is included and all meals.

The American Dream, where did it go?

Who would have thought so many Iraqi Deaths and the Bankrupting of the usa would have No Repercussions for those who started this whole Debacle?

It's been sad and continues! ; (

The death toll and injury toll in Iraq have been severely underreported to stifle overwhelming opposition from the American people.

I am often asked by people and by bloggers why I detest Hillary Clinton with such unapologetic passion. The reasons are many but the number one reason is her vote to give George Bush the authority to go to war against Iraq.

Now, five years on and nearly 4,000 American killed and 30,000 Americans injured or maimed, the estimated 500,000 to 650,000 Iraqis killed in the conflict are often forgotten victims of the war.

According to the United Nations (the world body Hillary Clinton holds in such contempt), a third of the Iraq dead are children. I don't have children and I probably never will have children but this doesn't prevent me from being angry and feeling outraged to think a third of Iraq's dead are kids who never took sides or made a choice to fight in a conflict perpetrated on them by asshole Americans like George Bush and Hillary Clinton.

I don't believe in God but I do believe in Karma and the negative Karma surrounding George Bush and Hillary Clinton is weighty and lethal. One day, the scales will tip against them and when it happens I wouldn't want to be standing anywhere near them.

With the Obama candidacy I see a kind of mirror reverse image of the horrors brought on by the Bush administration. I don't know for sure if the image is an illusion or something concrete, but it could also be described in terms of Newton's Third Law: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite (in direction) reaction." Bush brought war and a death culture. The flip side of that would be welcome.

Does this mean that Obama will be elected, will bring a big crew of Democrats into Congress along with him, and end the war, fix the economy, give us all decent health care and diminish the power of the corporations? No one really knows.

I just hope he survives the summer and if elected, his presidency. I mean that in the literal sense.

The idiot and McCain and Cheney were just on saying this is working and we must continue it. What sickens me is there are many who believe these lies along with all the rest as he bankrupts us financially and morally.

I have a video up on my blog that I created using JFK's words about secrecy in Govt and Eisenhower's final speech about the Military Industrial Complex. Those words are just as true today as the days they were spoken.

This day is a solem day for me. Its a horrible anniversary and yet our Idiot-in-Chief marked it by running his piehole about how noble the war is.

Made me physically ill..I had to turn off the tv.

Blog on my friend. Thank you for this moving post.

Straw Poll: Progressives Favor Obama

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0308/9125.html

Barack Obama is the overwhelming favorite for president among progressive activists, according to a Politico.com straw poll conducted at the Take Back America conference held in Washington this week.

Seventy-two percent of those polled preferred to see Obama nominated as the Democratic party’s presidential candidate, with rival Hillary Rodham Clinton claiming a scant 16 percent of support and 12 percent of respondents saying either would be fine in the general election against Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain. The poll, conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, surveyed 413 respondents from March 17 to 19.

Obama is also viewed as the Democrat most likely to defeat McCain, with 69 percent of respondents believing he has the best chance of beating the Arizona Republican, compared to just 15 percent who believe Clinton can defeat McCain.

The anemic support for Clinton at the conference reflects lingering discomfort with the New York senator among attendees. Two years ago while speaking at the event, she was booed in large part for her 2002 vote to authorize the Iraq war.

Yesterday was a very emotional day. It was uplifting to see so many particiapte in the blogswarm. Thank you for your post. Ironically, a very dear friend of mine who lived with my mom and I in high school and thought of my mom as his own and me as his sister sent me an e-mail today letting me know that he was on the ground in Kuwait with his guard unit. I think today will be rough too. agh! I want this senselessness to end! To have never begun! PEACE
