I'm disappointed. I thought it was on Bobby Kennedy and it seemed it was more about Obama and Clinton. What a waste of hard drive space on my DVR.

I strongly think that Kennedy would have defeated Nixon in '68. 1) You start off with Wallace's candidacy probably harming Nixon more. And, 2)Kennedy didn't have the albatross of Vietnam around his neck like Humphrey did. Oh, and, yes, let's not forget that it was a close election anyway.

Well that show was certainly misadvertised. The background pictures were the only things worth watching.

One of the moderators pointed out something I had forgot: at the '64 dem convention when LBJ nominated HHH to be his VP, the convention party bigwigs made sure that was done BEFORE RFK was allowed to speak. When RFK got up to the podium, the convention wouldn't stop clapping for, what, 20-minutes, I think. His eyes looked so sad because he knew this was applause for JFK. Then he gave a great speech (I need to look for it, the stupid CNN show referred to it, but didn't play any of it & I remember the speech, but not the details). It was a speech that would've probably forced LBJ to put him on the ticket ... but LBJ & RFK had an adversarial relationship, so there was no way that was gonna happen. And the party made sure of that by accepting HHH as VP BEFORE Bobby was allowed to speak. At the time, I & many young students were thinking, "just wait 'til '68".
