I have been trying to clean and finish up some household chores....but I got distracted, I found an old book of Maya Angelou poetry.....and I found some fabric to wash and make pillows for the porch...and somehow Little Yellow Dog still got out of her bath....I am not feeling very political....I am nesting....and trying to get my life in order....but in a couple of days I will be back to blogging my normal stuff..promise. We all need to take a break from politics now and then, so it doesn't consume us in its fiery wrath. ;) Nothing better than getting distracted by a book of poetry, especially by Maya Angelou. In my next life, I want to be a great poet instead of a terrible one.
I know you're upset about FISA. I probably don't "get" it all, but the way I see it, is that McCain may have agreed to the public financing part, but will still have the PACS and Lobbyists working for him, while Barack's relying on us, the people, the voters, the volunteers, the people who finally are able to make their voices heard to donate and finance a campaign. It's still public financing... Like I said, I may not get it, but I lie awake worrying about PACS that will be suppoting McCain...

yeah, it's funny I think I did need distraction....I think the FISA thing is more complicated and other future aspects are afoot...about the financing- I am fine...Obama did not sign an agreement- he signed an agreement to examine and agree to options...that was many monthes ago...Obama is letting WE THE PEOPLE finance him....I agree with that...now McCoot on the other hand....he has been playing loose with the rules since last summer....so he really has NO room to speak on this issue....( I think he is just jealous of Obama's ability to raise money and manage his funds...)
