Tomorrow Begins Today
John Edwards sent out this YouTube last night, and is announcing his 2008 Presidential Run from New Orleans. In this short little YouTube he talks about Real Issues, Katrina and What it did and What it Left Behind, about Poverty, about Iraq and McCains' Dumbass Surge and Splurge Iraq Plan ( my words not his), and POVERTY, and he is Real. I have mentioned here for monthes WHAT my dream ticket is...and you know it..but go watch This YouTube, let's Get This Started......

Hi Aarlene; I looks like you are from Lousiana, and I am so happy to see Edwards announce his Run from there , It is so good to see a Real Person there with jeans, sleeves rolled up ready to work saying that he wants to do Something for this Country. ( It was sad that more of the November Elections did not raise more issues about Katrina and NOLA. ) I love Obama, but I worked on Edwards Campaign in two other states in 2004, so this is Great News.
Fred: Some really Good People are focusing on Good Issues already...and that needed to happen, and the Momentum of November 06 needs to be carried forward....No Backsliding now....
Edwards is a skilled populist Southern politician capable of projecting an image common people can relate to (jeans, rolled up shirt sleeves, etc)and speaking about issues affecting them in a drawl.
I think that's great but hope he's not a centrist Democrat like so many of his fellow politicians from this region before him who've used this type of rhetoric to hide their true agenda.
Many of the Blogs are focusing on the death of President Ford and his amnesty to Nixon. You led the way with your analysis of him on Tuesday, Enigma.
What occurred to me was humanity should grant a posthumous pardon to Ford for legally excusing Nixon of his offenses and then demand the current criminal regime be turned over to the World Court for prosecution.
Global crimes demand universal justice which supercedes a nation's sovereignty. Mass murderers like Bush talk about a world economy but conveniently hide behind the U.S. Constitution which they've rigged whenever it suits their purposes.
If Edwards wants to talk about REAL ISSUES both domestic and foreign, let him start by pledging to turn Bush & Associates over to an International Court of Justice if elected President.
In my mind, this would establish the best deterrent against future abushes by American elected leaders and draining our Treasury needlessly for their selfish purposes.
