THE LAST FRIDAY 12.29.06...Namaste.

As I sit here blogging it is very late Thursday Night, the Clouds hang low over Lake Erie. My dog and cat are both asleep, exhausted after fighting over the Country Crock Container for 30 minutes. Who knew it was such a Perfect Pet Toy ? An absolute buttery delight. Well, atleast their coats will look so nice now. ( Last night it was a Mountain Dew box, but they grew bored with it.) I have cleaned up the Kitchen and am laying here trying to decide why this Buttery smell makes me so hungry. I think I will have to make Biscuits and tea and call it a night...( or it might be Diet Coke and Lime Tostitos.).

I know many places are Closed for the Holidays , or are on shortened Hours. But the Enigma Cafe is Open as usual. This is the Last Friday of this Year so I am quiet, just wiping the counters reflectively and thinking of the past year. I have posted some extra special Treats below, two wonderful artists and soothing music, and even some Hubble space shots that are spine tingling. I have tried to give you all a Reprieve from the Saddam-i-Ford Weekend. Thank you all for coming to the Cafe this year.Namaste.

*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
For a year I have tried to nurture those that stop in the Enigma Cafe. I often end my comments "Namaste". People have asked What that means. So I have posted a link, click the title ( please read the Uses). it is used in many cultures and is used as a greeting that gently lets others know that they are accepted and embraced spiritually . For me when I say it , it is said with Empathy , that I carry you in my heart, that my Spirit is at one with your Spirit, meaning that We are All One. For me I learned about it working after the Tsunami ...but that is a story for yet another day. Peace, Light and Love.

Namaste to you, E4E. I wonder what the painting would be if Gustav featured our brave little band of bloggers.

E4E... I am a complete idiot when it comes to art, I'll be the first to admit. But the picture you put up for this post had me staring at it for 20 minutes. I thought it a painting, but the edges of the "quilt" looked so sharp and real, I thought a photograph. I have to start paying closer attention. Thanks for posting it.

I haven't gotten into my year end retrospective. I do, usually, but I was thinking just earlier this morning, the new year won't change anything. The war will rage on from one day to the next just as the borders between Countries is non-existant to the eagle that flies high above it.

That makes me sad, or rather, keeps me sad. But all I need do is come here to your place, read Namaste, and feel connected again. I know that spirits are alive and hanging around, good friendly spirits.

Thank you.

Ah, Enigma, Gustav Klimt is a great way to close the year. All that energy!

I hope you are able to post at my place again soon, still don't know what the issue is - I've not switched to the new version. Hmmm.

DIVA: All that energy, and golden light...I hope I can comment soon too- went to the" genius" bar this week, they said I need to check my popup window status ( or something like that) and that I should reset Something, and that should eliminate all my NonBlogger problems...( so I am still trying).

LUCKY: wow...that is a Honey of a Piece..wow...Harpischord too..cool...everyone go look at it- it is too cool.

Spado : well, we can't have sad...just can't can't..if you need to think that is a photo with a bevie of beauties under the quilt that is just fine...anything to make you feel better...

Mary: now that would be something to see all of us lying under the quilt....Namaste to you too...

CM: yes, he is definently looking aged...withered...pickeled...

SUMO: no kidding...he would be ahead of his time even now...sigh...

May your new year be both joyfull and peacefull.

As far as art goes I don't believe I know him. Just kidding...LOL...LOL...

I'm not really into art, but do know what I like when I see it. Be it a blanket, rug, painting, tapestry or mural.

God Bless you and keep you safe.
