One of my Favorite Presidents is President Lincoln.Mr.Lincoln read and the bible and prayed for his Country. One of his favorite sayings was from Proverbs, "Where there is no vision, the People Perish." I can only wonder what he would have thought of Mr.Bush's Mess in Iraq.
Another time when Methodists were visiting the White House and they attempted to comfort him by saying ,"We will prevail, because God is on our side." President Lincoln wisely asked them, "The question should always be, but are are we on His side?". He would never have claimed that His God made him bomb or harm another country.
He said of War, " War is most terrible and this of ours in it's magnitude and duration is one of the most terrible the world has ever known. " He said this about the Civil War, but I think perhaps it could be said about the War in Iraq.
He also said" A house divided against itself can not stand".
( Maybe someone can share that wisdom with the Uniter, the Divider, the Decider, the King....)

hmm, well that says it all don't it. He is still one short of a Happy Meal- if you know what I mean.
