She has such an incredible voice. I haven't seen anything about her; is she singing professionally now?

She reminds me of Diana Ross in many ways.........

The Dixie Chix are awesome musicians. And I rarely use the word "awesome" excet to describe something like the distance across our own galaxy.

On another note, McCain's sleazy campaign manager Rick Davis has announced they will be going negative from here on out. Davis has written:

"All campaigns do extensive research into their opponent's voting record and personal life. This so-called "oppo research" involves searching databases, combing through press clips, and asking questions of people who know (and preferably dislike) your opponent. It's not hard to turn up something a candidate would rather not see on the front page of The Boston Globe.

It's not necessary, however, for a smear to be true to be effective. The most effective smears are based on a kernel of truth and applied in a way that exploits a candidate's political weakness."

Look for dirty politics from McCain from now to Election Day. This is what a true war hero does, at least in McCain's case. He lies and smears and does whatever is necessary to win at any cost. He shows himself to be the lowlife political creep that he really is. So people will vote for him.

The Dixie Chicks were sure hurt by attacking Bush. They sold more CDs than any country act in history.

well, at first they were not welcome anywhere in texas, their home, and they were pretty much condemned and cancelled- it was when they fought back and made Shut Up and Sing that they kind of turned it around..and this song definently helped;.....but they did have alot of harrassment and death threats...because they called Bush the ass that he is .....
