LIVECAM of the Gusher(s), there clearly appears to be atleast two "leaks",both are on the Seabed and both are gushing,there might even be a 3rd leak behind. ( I know BP said that the 3rd leak was under control-but I thought I saw a 3rd gusher in the background. I also think at some point Rep.Markey should request a video of the siphon. It appears that BP is showing the Scene from different cameras-which means that they either have different cameras or are choosing different footage to show.It is a shame that there is no date and time on the footage that would help. It seems that experts could look at this footage and estimate the Volume per hour. A Purdue Scientist, Steve Werely has estimated that the actual volume may be as much as 90,000 barrels/day which is horrendous. There is no plan to stop the Leaks as of tonight, the Top Kill (drilling mud plan) has been delayed until atleast Tuesday they said on the evening news,but no reason was given.

Purdue scientist now estimates BP Oil Spill rate is 4 MILLION gallons per day based on new video of both leaks.
( There were numerous articles by the end of the week about the assessments of the Video, strikingly, NONE of the Scientists agreed with the 5,000 barrel/day estimate given by BP, here's more from the Scientists estimates in YahooNews.

I am still passing this OSHA FactSheet around Twitter and the Internet because it has Facts regarding being exposed to the Oilspill and FUMES. HLS and DHHS are still not issuing any warnings or Facts sheets-we are now 32 days into this crisis, so I don't know what they are waiting for at this point. If you want to share the info I will put it in comments so you can Twitter. Meanwhile the Fishermen that are assisting in the Clean Up Operations are having health effects and problems that they are not sure if they are related to Oils or Dispersant. EdBlizzard's huffpo post on GulfWorkers feeling effects is a must read. OSHA is involved, but there is no care or agency for the Residents yet. Volunteers for America is going down this week to set up help centers for the Gulf and assist with psychological care and other needs. But as of yet there is still No Hotlines for the Physical Symptoms of the fumes reaching shore. (( As a Nurse I am encouraging people with existing Conditions, Immune disorders, Heart and respiratory conditions to limit time outside and spend time indoors if they smell fumes, and to use AC and filtered air.)

CBS is still getting hassled for trying to take photos and report the Oily mess on the shores of Louisiana Journalists and reporters should not face harassment for trying to report from a Disaster ZONE.

Governor Jindal is reporting that 54 Miles of Coastline have been slimed by Oil at this point 32 days into This Crisis, now that the Oil has hit the Shorelines.

We need to start thinking and talking about the Shrimpers and Fishing Community of the gulf. They have to choose what to do, should they risk their lives and boats to help BP with the Cleanup or should they sit and watch the Black Tides kill their livelihoods ? Why is No One there providing Mental Health Services and Care and addressing that an Entire Industry is scared, confused and in dire need of Attention during this Crisis ? WHY ? Shouldn't FEMA, HLS and DHHS recognize that people need Leadership and Comfort, and that is NOT BP's role ? Second Harvest is already begging for Donations as the Fishermen ususally live week to week, and now need FOOD for their families. WHY is MSM ignoring this Crisis for the Gulf Residents ? What floors me is the locals, shocked & outraged that oil is on their beach. Hello! When you allow 4000 offshore oil wells to do business in the Gulf of Mexico, don't be surprised when disaster arrives.
I'm sure there are people who are outraged who were amongst those yelling Drill Baby Drill @ the RNC. Also those calling for smaller government, who are now saying the Government is not responding enough.
Which is it?
One politician said it's just one oil rig that failed, thousands of others are not a problem.
Now we see the reality of "just one" oil rig going bad.
I understand BP is saying they will use chemical dispersant even though the EPA said no more.
This is where Obama needs to step up.
BP is not calling the shots.
If they are told not to use chemicals anymore, then impound the chemicals. Ground the spray planes & fine them $1 million bucks per infraction.
BP has done enough damage already.
In fact, I think they will not recover from this catastrophic disaster. BP will fold & probably reopen under a different name.
Their pledge to honor valid claims for losses will probably not come to fruition, once they realize the magnitude.
The reason they don't declare the actual volume of the spill is to limit their own liability. They know. They just don't want us to know.

I wrote a post over at the Enigma Cafe ( my other blog...) and I decided the post there-letter to prez was better than just being angry here..so I removed my anger above...sorry folks....
I think it's really hit..that I won't ever be able to show the white beaches that I loved and grew up with...I just wanted to show them to my son someday...but that's not really more...I know that is selfish..and I know that I am worried about friends in the gulf...and that I can't help them..and it is so heartwrenching...
Question: Why the hell is the reporter out on a small boat w no lifejacket on?
You can see it getting pitched about on choppy water. Don't they have safety regs??? She was on the job.
I thought all along the whole chemical dispersant approach was to sweep the problem under the rug, or in this case under the surface of the ocean. Problem is it is not designed to be used subsurface.... so they really have no idea what the long term effects will be.
BP- make mistakes???
