And in Oregon of all places. The West is heading Democrat finally.

finally....Yahooooo

Oregon has been blue forever, same as Calif. Washington swings. ID & MT are red, but MT might swing this year. I am confident NV will swing back blue this year (actually I think they swung in '04 but for those pesky voting anomoly problems). Who'd I leave out of the West, Larry? Oh yeah, AZ & UT will stay red, but CO looks like a swinger this year! NM will go blue, but WY will stay cheneyland. That's my west state predictions. All Obama needs is just a couple of the swingers & McCame is old dried-out toast.

These photos are wonderful, Enigma. A real boost just when I needed it!

LET'S TALK said...

Hi Enigma, I am just find and hope to be able to blog more after this mess is over between the Clinton supporters and Obama supporters.

I saw this video on The Jedreport and thought you might enjoy it, if you have not already saw it: click McCain

enigma4ever said...

Let's Talk...phew glad that you are okay...you had me worried...I think that the strife will end...and that there will Unity to fight McCain ...and win...don't be a stranger ...okay :-)

Thanks for the video- I will check it out...namaste.

DK:::
I know that parts of Oregon are very Blue- but there are also parts that are kinda red if you know what I mean...( and Dixiecrats too...and bluedogs...etc..) Out in the Rural parts...( kinda like east Washington, Spokane etc..) And yeah I think your perdictions are dead on, althought Obama did win AZ over Hill ( I think)...and also the other "horrible thing" ( hehe) that McSame had to deal with is Ron Paul...who had a pretty good support there in McSame's back yard :-)

Aren't these pics great ;-)
( stolen off the Obama site)

D.K. Raed said...

I know about those red parts of WA & OR, but the population is comparatively low in those areas. So ... guess where Hill concentrated her OR effort the other day? I don't know the name of the place, but it was definitely eastern OR, Bend area I think. A staunch repub area, but there she was. I will consider that she helped if they go bluedog in those areas. I'm not holding my breath though. NV has the same problem. The cow counties (everywhere but Vegas and Reno) are all repub. I would love to lose a bet on AZ going McCame (I've been calling him that because he is past-tense). It is pretty strange, now that you point it out, how well Ron Paul did in AZ and NV, where McCame should've excelled. In fact, I believe Ron Paul is still in the primaries & still getting repub votes?

The pics really say it all. People have the Power!

enigma4ever said...

DK:::
yeah, those parts of the state...for sure...I am sure she found her Pantsuited niche...oye...in the primaries Ron Paul has scored consistantly 6-16% ....and oddly people have still been voting for Huck and Mitt- so he has not even been getting ALL the votes- only about 65-73% ( I have been tracking all those on primary nites as well.....because I am evil...)

I would love to see Him lose AZ...that would rock...but one of the biggest Ron Paul Coalitions is in AZ...very funny....

Blueberry said...

that's a HUGE rally!

libhom said...

This shows that negative campaigning and biased media can only go so far in brainwashing people. People are thinking for themselves and listening to what Obama has to say.

enigma4ever said...

LIbhom:
No Kidding....and this shows that people were reading and paying attention...( it was pretty hot, and people got there early in the morn...and waited...)...

and the General Election has not even started....It's going to be an amazing summer...

Blueberry:
it is really something...but this is what a Movement looks like...Ain't no "fairytale" ;-)

DivaJood said...

And to think those people had a choice between going to see Obama or a tour to Lake Daisetta. Honestly, where are their priorities?

enigma4ever said...

Diva:
I am sure there were people handing out your lovely broshures there...lol...

Amazing....I guess some Americans would rather be politcal then enjoy Wildlife tours ;-)

Wow, incredible photos -- yes they do cheer me up! Thank you Enigma, and Happy Mother's Day to you too. Actually, Happy Mother's Month!

We deserve more than one day a year to be honored.

Love,

One thing really annoys me. I had dinner with a few women friends I hadn't seen in a long time -- last week and they are all Democrats but not exactly plugged in. Two of them said they can't vote for someone named Obama or Hussein! I can't belive they are so shallow. After I explained the danger of voting for McCain, they agreed they'd vote for Obama -- but it goes to show how our country is full of people who are afraid and who put style over substance. They said they can't imagine voting for an American president with such a foreign name!! Infuriating.

jmsjoin said...

I won't start with my thoughts after reading what Lydia said I just can't believe some people will never get it, we can't stop. I haven't read you article yet but I will. Just thought you might like this picture and check out this article about Obama's record crowd of 80,000

enigma4ever said...

Hey Lydia::
I have had the same conversation, both doing phone banking for Obama, and then with people I KNOW..and you are right that is the hard part....you hope that people are not so shallow...but...there it is...But good for you patiently explaining and diplomatically opening their eyes...and ears...and hearts...

About Names:
Barack is a name from his heritage, it means"Blessed"...

And Hussein is not always the name of "enemies", it is a name used in many cultures in religions ...It means Handsome...

So I picture it this way, his young Mother, sat and looked at her son, and with her young husband by her side, and wanting to name him a name that honors his heritage and welcome him he was called "Handsome " and "Blessed"....two things that all of us as Mothers can relate to....

One woman that I "confronted" with this way of looking at it...she actually filled up..." I have been horrible, I never thought of him as a baby, and his mother and how she named him...."

It is one by one that this movement has grown,...and it is up to all of us to share who he is...because the Media won't.....

Namaste...

Patriot:
hey there...yeah, the FD dept said it was closer to atleast 80,000, as people go turned away...beautiful isn't it...( a friend wrote and said it was "Better than Woodstock, that many good folk in one place"..I thought that was funny....but good that feelings from the past can mix with OUR future.....thanks for the link friend..

enigma4ever said...

ABOUT Names: Lydia _ I forgot one other thing...Hussein also is not always the name of Enemies...it also is the name of friends..like King Hussein of Jordan...

Dr. Know said...

I have an aquaintance who has worked for the fire department for over 20 years. After 9-11 he had people driving by his house throwing flaming garbage and calling on the phone at all hours because his last name was... you guessed it... Hussein. GA is such an inbred backwater. For a peek into the psychology involved here, take a look at the comments section of this Washington Post article:
Record Obama Crowd, the Size of a City

We live in a country chocked full of sick, stupid mofos.

enigma4ever said...

Dr.Know...
I know that we live in a country where there is Ignorance and Arrogance...( ie the "Misleader" himself)...but I also know that if each of us takes time to educate and even just being aware, that we can fight this...that Knowledge is Power....( FOX is having their worst year ever $$$$ wise since their inception in 1996...and I believe that is directly related to people like us...blogging, educating...even Reading the Internets...)

******************

Today..Obama is speaking in Crowe Agency Montana, and again a MASSIVE crowd came to hear him...( More than the entire town...) Montana is not full of "jus more liberals"...there are alot of repugs and Independents there- that means That he is crossing New Territory...Also it not a place known for Huge Rallies- For Anyone...

My Friend called from Asia last night and he pointed out that after 8 years, of Repression , and During such Economic Hardship that this Man can draw people to wait in huge lines in Record heat and Cold...says alot about this time and this Movement...it is Historic....

Have hope Friend...have hope....

UPDATE:
Obama was endorsed by Senator Byrd today....Wonderful...Obama did indeed speak with great admiration in his book...I am sure he is very honored to have this support...

X. Dell said...

The thing is, 75K people respresent a significant fraction of Oregon's voting population. And if they come to a rally, they're only a fraction of the people who would prefer to go to the polls instead, and voice their support for Obama there.

enigma4ever said...

XDell:
I am not sure where you are going with that thought...they are voting...( by Mail)...that 's a good thing right?

I have never in my lifetime seen such Huge Rally for ANY candidate EVER....I think it is a big deal...esp, it was a beautiful day Hot as Hell, and plenty of basketball, hockey and golf on TV....but there they were out to hear Obama, many waiting hours in oppressive unseasonable Summer-like Heat to hear him....I thought it was stunning..,...like gave me chills .....a Power to the People Moment.....

( Hillary was in Oregon this weekend- at an event that had 1500)...

Keith said it was 80 thou. But we all know what a lair Keith is. In case you're not in the tank for Olbermann, like I am, and he gave another great Special Comment tonight. These are the most perfect moments of my day--A keith Olbermann Special Comment from Keith, Keith Olbermann. I love him a lot as much as I love Clooney. That would be George Clooney. Ummmm shivers, uuuummmmmm.

enigma4ever said...

Utah:
80,000 thous is what the Fire and EMS estimated...they had to turn people away ( I bet that was NOT pretty...ouch)....

The Rally barely got mentioned on ANY news....so goooooo Keith...he thought it was signifigant...When in our lifetimes was there ever an event where a Candidate would get 80,000 on a blistering hot May afternoon....those people waited Hour and Hours to see him...because it mattered...but the dumass cottoncandybrained media will never grasp that....

Now about Keith....I do love Keith...he has courage...brains and if we did not have him we would be in a lot worse shape....and special Comments are like Christmas..I can barely wait to see them...and they are always worth it...and leave me smiling the rest of the night....

Ahhhh Mr.Clooney he is the real deal too....sigh.....be still my beating ol' heart...

shivers...80,000 shivers...We got ourselves a Real Candidate this time...

( cuz you know McBush had a shit when he saw the morning papers......and that makes me smile too ....)

Obama packed an arena in Montana that only held 3000. This is Montana.

Now I'm jealous since George Clooney seems to have beaten me out.

Yes, 80,000 people is more than anyone candidate has ever showed up for a political event.

And Hillary now uses Karl Rove math to use as an excuse to continue onward with her campaign.

She will no doubt not stop until the convention stops her and then she will say the process is not legitimate.

She is hell bent on destroying the Democratic Party and Obama's chances to win the White House for the American people.

She is indeed a monster who puts herself before Country and Party.

Sorry to be so down, but I can't help but think that Hillary is still a Republican deep down like her family was and she was when growing up.

Take care my sweet rose and ...

God Bless you.

enigma4ever said...

Hey there AnonP:
How are you friend....those kitties settling in..parently new little ones and settling them is alot of work...I sent hugs your way...ahhh about George Clooney...lordy- don't you know there is plenty of room in my heart....

So I am watching Obama in Montana and People there are asking Questions..I gotta say- when they show these Events and Rallies- the people are engaged and SMART...they KNOW their Stuff... it is very inspiring, when was the last time that anyone ASKED people in Montana WHAT they are concerned about ...nice to see ....

Hillary is having trouble Leaving the Campaign - in her mind she was told for so long that this was HERS...it is about Ego, About Pride....she lost sight of the Party and us, all of us, long ago....

today they showed her embracing Rove's Math - ROVE?????OMG....holy shit...what the hell.....I mean talk about Dancing with the Devil....I felt ill....

I hope and pray that people help her to the door soon....because it is to the point that I am getting phone calls from overseas asking me WHY is she so Delusional.....( what do I say to that ???)

So dear friend...have hope....don't down....we are going to get Regime Change..and we are all changing America Everyday right now...just by talking , reading and being honest about What is Happening here....

Namaste...

Larry:
I know HUGE rallies in Montana...this is Montana...wow.....Amazing...really does make my heart sing to see People In so many diverse parts of the Country embracing Change and a Better Future....Alaska..Utah...Idaho...and yeah Even Montana.....

The newest cat Princess Pepper is turning out to be a bully.

She got into a fight with Baby tonight. I think Baby was using the litter box and she got attacked by Pepper because of it.

I'm not sure now if Pepper will work out as Baby is sort of a loner and Pepper wants to claim everything.

If this keeps up I will give her back and tell them to keep the adoption fee. I don't want to worry that one of them will get hurt while I'm at work.

Anyway I need to get to bed as I still have to work to pay the bills and all.

Take care and ...

God Bless.

An Oregonian here-- yes my ballot went in the ballot box on Saturday. NOW those 2 or more calls from the Clinton camp have finally stopped.
Our local newspaper (we are the 2nd largest city in Oregon) failed to put this Obama story on the front page where it belonged. Instead, they put a full spread page about a tragic murder story that is 25 years old.
Obama would up on page 3 with a small color photo & a relatively small article. They also threw in a smaller of Clinton with her hand on her heart pose. ACKKK!!!
Obama brought in this huge- historic crowd & Hillary was not even in the state yesterday- sent the Chelsea & Bill show to Salem where a whopping 1,300 people showed up. Woo Hoo!

this paper has just sucked about coverage. I have called & written- the managing editor i charge of the front page should be fired.
Other people have said there is an obvious slant... glaringly clear when they failed to run the John Edwards & NARAL endorsement as headline news-- putting istead a full color Hillary story instead. The bias is not even subtle.

They did run a nice Obama story yesterday....
but even then Hillary had a big writeup on page 3 WITH a large photo. Whenever they bury Obama's story off the front page, there are not pictures included.

Hell a journalism class could take these election campaign coverage papers as a lesson in what is a classic example unfair & imbalanced, biased reporting. they forgot to report the clinton campaign is in the red $20 million. Who needs facts when you are busy cheerleading?

Clinton ran sickeningly positive ads here, at least where I live. She wore pink pantsuits & pearls in her ads with children & regional specific rhetoric.

the phone was flooded with pre recorded messages from Chelsea begging us to vote for her Mom.

I have had some otherwise pregressive frinds echo the divisive igoted bias- Hussein, or casn I vote for a black guy garbage.
But then I see this crowd of 75,000 plus.

People who see past skin color, or ethnic names, and hear an intelligent man, not deliver empty promises at the podium, not naieve in saying I will speak with other country's leaders. He is well educated- in Political Science, and the US Constitution.
He loathes the fear card, and empty tactics like summer gas price holidays.
We the people are sick of gimmicks. We know there is no harm in speaking with countries we don;t agree with. It;s called diplomacy.
It takes elegance, grace, patience, and open mind and a willingness to find common ground in which to sort out our differences.
this us & them mentality has grossly mislead our country dangerously off path of what this country stands for, and is founded upon.
If we keep doing things the same way, we will keep getting the same result.
Hard to even think about.

So lets move forward, together

It's a beautiful full moon tonight. Do you remember my last full moon premonition/visualization? I just had it again tonight. Barack will be president!

Wow Fran...thank you..I love it when you speak...you Speak....and tell the truth...loud and clear....that is the thing about the 75,000 People- it scared the media senseless...OMG...that makes it REAL.....they can not handle that...

All of the facts that you stated are real...and honest info- you would think that Real Journalists would report that....but no...they have ALL been Foxified...that is how I look at it...the Biggest thing to hit Our Country in 40 years and they were reporting WHAT??? pantuits and pearls...because that is the WAY it was suposed to be .....

It is up to all of us to blog it, document it and Remember it well...we are the Journalists and Historians of this Era...and our young people are too...

Thankyou for standing up and trying to get your paper accountable..good....

Hang in there...and Thank you Oregon Lady...

Did you see Obama threaten the Repugs if they continue to attack his wife?

enigma4ever said...

Larry:
He stood his ground...told them to lay off his wife...he was very clear...he didn't really threaten them...just made it clear she was not fair game....that the Issues must be the focus.....

I think it is good to get that Abundantly clear that his Family is OFF limits....

He is a man of steel...

D.K. Raed said...

Yes Enigma, that moon is so big & beautiful ... I can't explain it ... it just speaks to me! I think the confluence on a primary eve is a good sign.

I hope plenty of Oregonians & Kentuckians saw how Obama responded to Bush's appeasement accusation this weekend. He was so thoughtful & well-spoken. He already seems like my president!

Fran, your local paper is doing a real snow job. We had that kind of thing happen all the time in San Diego. Only one editor ever spoke up & he was fired after a few years. Our paper was privately owned by the Copley Family so they did as they pleased. I hope yours is more responsive to public input.

enigma4ever said...

DK::
I was telling a friend "I have this friend that had a Obama premonition on the beautiful Full moon nite- I wish I would have one tonight- it certainly is a beautiful Mystical Moon..." I dreaded the West Virginia..and I also was very uncertain of the Indiana one....so tomorrow...another nail biter....I will liveblog it...and I agree with you I HOPE that enough people saw him and HEARD him...( fran's paper - oye what a headache....)

Have Hope....

One thing about vote by mail, they gather up the ballots in a 3 week period, so they should be able to run the resultspretty quickly. Usually the first few waves of results stick.

Results won' t roll in till 11pm your time E. Whew.
