Watching Caroline Kennedy right now!! Class act.
Public Broadcasting IS going to air the debate.... I thought I would be shut out as a non dish subscriber.
My @#@#$ insurance has a crappy dental allowance & all local dentists are* out of network*, so a routine cleaning & x rays are gonna be $201 out of MY pocket. Bastards.
My question: How many people DON'T have Dish or Cable because of medical expenses?
Therefore excluded from political debate access? The assumption is everyone can afford it.... or has it... right?

Tears streaming down my face...got back from my errand just in time to see Teddy's whole speech. Fantastic. I'm so glad he was strong enough to be there.
Going to grab a bite to eat and will be back...will look for CSpan, we have on CNN.

Watching the video too. I can only get the Comcast cable station on the downstairs TV, the cable box is acting up. Luckily they are covering the convention! Once we go upstairs I can watch other stations on that TV.

I saw her back this winter....thousands showed up on a Winterday downtown at a college...and she rocked it- I was so moved- she really is ONE of the BEST women speakers I have ever seen- and she and Barack really have a story - a REAL story...
If you can see her on Barack in Person...SEE them..They are amazing....

This is the first time I've heard her speak except for a snippet here and there. She is reallly amazing. I would LOVE to see them in person. I hope he comes through New Jersey again and I will have an opportunity.

Michelle is such a good public speaker, but I really wish they had set her loose! I thought her speech was very well crafted, with an emphasis on crafted. I wanted to see something more, I don't know, not "angry black woman", but fiery! Yes. More fiery. I felt the warmth and truth in her words, but I did not feel the heat...Some of it was allowed to jump over the rim, but I wanted, maybe my expectations we're too high for a Monday...? I was looking for Martin Luther King Jr. in a dress! Malcolm X in high heels!

that is how she is - I have watched almost All of her speechs and seen her in person...She writes her OWN speechs- she does not let them craft her- remember this is the REAL womant that people in Iowa met last winter.....

I DVR'd both MSNBC & CSPAN and have to say tomorrow I will only watch CSpan. Much as I love Keith & Rachel, watching them analyzing it instead of feeling like you are right on the convention floor made it feel small. The CSpan coverage was much more immediate. And of course, since I DVR, I can FFWD through dumbass "music" & filler.

I have heard her speak several times and I have always enjoyed her ability to speak so eloquently. I actually did enjoy the speech as night, but still wanted to hear a roar. Maybe I was too overloaded on caffeine to be a very good critic last night! :>)
