Here's one thing (there are several) that bothers me about the Hillary supporters who say they'll vote for McCain or stay home since their candidate didn't get the nomination...(boy, that was a long lead-in)...
As they say such things and react this way, they reinforce the idea that women are simple-minded, emotional and irrational. They're voting their emotions, not sense. That does nothing to advance any feminist ideals, if that's what this is supposed to be about.

I just wish she didn't say McCain was a friend of hers. A lot of her supporter's ear's perked when they heard that. The Dems have GOT to stop calling these guys "good men", "friend of mine", etc and call them the devil!!
She exceeded my expectations, actually. But she could not keep her own self divorced from the rest of the message...I thought she was also somewhat self-promoting. I really wanted her to stop sounding like she was still giving a speech from back when she was running.

Just stoppping by to say hi. I think Hill did very well. I had my doubts about it all, but I would say she delivered a strong & clear message. There was not the whining or 2nd guessing innuendo I thought there might have been.
I particularly liked her to the point line
"No way • No How • No McCain"
Her way of saying don't even think about voting for him & then went on to articulate specific differences.
She did very well. Whew!

I am still nervous about Bill tomorrow...but we will have Biden tomorrow...and that should be good....
I think the media is the one that is really hyping the Hillary supporter issue....I don't know any Hillary people that are not TRUE Democrats...not at this point...
Mannnnn, I didn't realize there was a DNC party over here or I would have joined! :-) I too have to go crash now but I did love seeing at least two things tonight, Kucinich (of course, he was/is GREAT) and all 8(?) women senators, several of whom I wasn't previously familiar with.
