IF Florida and THE Candidates were told that their Early Primary was Illegal, and THAT NO Campaign Events were Allowed......

Marie Antoinette Action Figure
****************************
So that Hillary's big "Victory" Speech is NOT Legal.....Because she is using it to Campaign, by giving her BIG Stomp Speech yelling as Her Usual, that is NOT playing by The Rules. ( She went there last weekend for a Fundraiser that also was questionable)....I am sorry, but really so The Rules ONLY apply to the OTHER Candidates, not her......If this isn't Rovian Politics I don't Know What it is....So She can ONLY WIN By Cheating ? Haven't we as Democrats learned MORE than HOW to CHEAT From Bush& Rove ?

So Funny- that in 2004 I never saw her ONCE Complain about Kerry&Edwards were hurt by ILLEGAL Voting Practices and Problems - we never heard her comeout and say "Let' make Sure the Votes Count!!" ..I guess it is only if HER Votes Count....

*{ IF she cared SO MUCH about "Counting Votes" , where was she in 2004 when the Election was Stolen? I didn't HEAR her say a word?}*

I am glad that I am not at an impressionable age (being a fairly young but not that young female democrat) this woman could scar me for life!
I expected extremely low and demeaning tactics and actions from the GOP but from a candidate in my own party?, much less a woman and less of a woman or human being at that?! I despise that she's representing my gender at such a historic time where the whole world is watching!!!! All she is proving to me is she can be as nasty and down right dirty as the men in past politics, what a bragging right!
I seriously will consider switching to the Independent party and consider McCain if Hillary is my only option and the democratic party really sees fit to be represented by her.

Sasha-
I too am embarrassed by her and her antics...and sad...I really had been looking forward to a woman running...but she has ruined the whole Historic Moment.....I want to know can we write in Obama if she were to win the "delegation" ??? ( I mean can you imagine if we ALL wrote it in....)

I don't know if I can VOTE for her, I have never ever voted for Someone when I doubted their Integrity...I can not Vote for Someone that has said and done what she has done in the past month....She is Dishonest...and Morally Corrupted...( which is what we have suffered the last 7 years...isn't that enough?)

10:52 PM As Harold Fineman on MSNBC said " well, she thinks that she won....that is HER Reality".

The two songs she uses at her events say much....

the 9-5 theme Song- which is interesting- a Movie about Women who Cheat and commit Crimes to get ahead....

and "Everything Little thing She does is Magic" - by an obscure 80's Band that I can not remember....but the song is an odd Choice...

She held HER Party....delusionally Celebrating HER Victory....unreal.....

I think Hitchens is correct about the Clintons here.

Stunning article- thanks....
kind of scary how Hitchens nails it...

( there is also a Dana Milbank article up tonight over at WAPO- but I could not get it to post, probably cuz I am not a subscriber- about Hillary and her "Style"- of Gutterball Politicking...it is very insightful... but this is not all about Hill it is indeed very much about Bill...)

I'm sure the Democrat national bosses will do all they can to ensure their preferred candidate gets the advantages.
Here is hoping Ted Kennedy can pull some weight away from her, but that is a big ask.

enigma4ever said...

Ted does have some pull with the SUPER Delegates...but it is more that she cheated....that is what perturbs me- she cheats and pretends it a real win...everyone else abided the rules....I am sure that Teddy will call Dean and have a "chat".....

What I really hope is that the Other states take a stand....but we shall see...

I'll be honest and say I don't like the idea of Hillary becoming President but it has nothing to do with her other than the fact that she's Clinton's wife. I'm sick and tired of politicians inheriting their positions by blood and marriage. 300 Million people in this country and the best we can come up with are relations of former presidents?

That aside, I find myself fairly neutral watching the Democratic race. In the end there is no doubt that I will vote Democrat, even of for nothing else than Supreme Court nominations and I absolutely cannot reward a GOP party that has not only allowed the nightmare of BushCo but aided and abetted it every turn.

But reading these posts really makes me scratch my head. If Obama supporters cannot withstand the very VERY gentle nature of Hillary Clinton's attacks, what in the world would he do against a Republican opponent?

I'm fully aware that the Dems are often their own worst enemy, and frankly I'd be more than happy to toss every lobbyist and career politician into a ditch somewhere, but if the Left spends Election Day crying into their milk, than they have no one to blame for another 4-8 years of Republican rule but themselves.

And how the heck do you not know that "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" is from The Police!?! Obscure 80's band??? Are you nuts!!
LOL

Mister Grimm I am so pleased you added the laugh to that last bit. "The Police!?! Obscure 80's band???" The Police are currently touring Australia and packing houses. Not my sort of music but Sting is a damn good advert for us blokes with a few years under our belts.

Hillary Clinton won the delegate-less Florida Democratic primary Tuesday night, an event that drew no campaigning by any of her presidential rivals and awarded no delegates to the winner.

Fresh off her 28 point loss to Barack Obama in last weekend’s South Carolina primary, Clinton arranged a bizarre photo-op rally as the polls closed.

The event was an attempt to garner media attention and regain campaign momentum. While some have argued that a win is a win, I would argue a delegate-less win is like saying masturbation is the same as sex.

John Kerry Calls Hillary on Her Florida Bullshit

Sen. John Kerry held a conference call with reporters a few minutes ago, diminishing any outcome in tonight’s Florida Democratic primary. He said the Clinton campaign has been pushing reporters to cover it “in some kind of serious fashion,” but cautioned that that would be a mistake.

“I know what this race is about what it is ultimately about is delegates. The bottom line is that Florida does not offer any delegates. It is not a legit race. It should not become a fabricated race.”

Clinton’s team has begun to push the notion in recent days that Florida’s delegates should be seated at the convention (Michigan’s, too, for that matter). While she hasn’t overtly campaigned there, which would violate the early state pledge, she has raised money in Florida, and she thanked supporters in Davie, FL last tonight.

Shillery once again found a cheap way to slither from her agreement with the other candidates, and take the stage of giddy and glee.

Hey you got a mention on Skippy.

Good for you for telling like it is.

Hillary is a prima donna who expects the rules not to apply to her like they do everybody else.

enigma4ever said...

Gryphen:
I got a Skippy Mention ??? really ? wow...that is like getting an Oscar Nomination in Blogatopia...

Christopher:
Thank you for all of your input....and insights...and wisdom ;-)

Cartledge:
Ahhhh, yes,I indeed made A HUGE mistake...I completely forgot who sang That song...( which now it is apparent that I will live to regret what my amnesia ...)The Police are touring ? really....wow I would love to see them...and I was a HUGE fan...and went to see them many times.....a long long time ago...Shame on me..

Mister Grimm:
First off my Biggest Apologies for MY HUGE ERROR....I am deeply sorry that I did not remember that song was Police, and they are in now way Obscure, and yes, I will indeed change the Post and Correct my error....I was a HUGE Police Fan, and a Bigger Sting Fan....so I am indeed very embarrassed....

About Obama- most of the attacks were not mild by Hillary...it was shameful and it will I am sure Continue, But I don't feel like rehashing history here, but Obama is more than ready for anything the Repugs can throw his way ...now that Billary and Her Rovian Tactics have been thrown at him.

Thanks for coming, and again my apologies...

Hi, Enigma and Cart --

Thanks for "getting" the tone of my post -- those early morning insomnia posts, you never know how they'll come out much less interpreted.

LOL at the Police mention! And hey, it sure beats that Celine Dion song Hillary hyped using at the beginning of this.

I am new here -- to be honest, I followed the link from Skippy's site.

IMO, Hillary's campaign really hasn't been that bad. Politics is merciless business. I hate it, but I don't expect any better until real ethical reform is in place, along with a complete overhaul of our media advertising rules and more importantly, news media.

But specifically as to Florida, I think the Dems made a major mistake in stripping the state of its delegates. The people of the state have been royally shafted for 8 years now and stripping them of their delegates completely is IMO hugely insulting to millions of voters. And to not even acknowledge the fact that they turned up in huge numbers to make a symbolic yet probably meaningless vote would just be foolish on the part of any candidate. If these voters turned out for the primary, you certainly want them to return come November and simply showing appreciation for their turnout is an absolute must if the Democrats want to win the actual election.

Cartledge said...

Mr Grimm, welcome and I'm looking forward to seeing the media ogre in action.

Hillary actually was campaigning in Florida, in person, even earlier. I posted an article on it before the voting in Florida even started.
