Blogger Outage Scheduled for 4pm ? Is this in any way related to Bank Closings? read on....

This will be the 3rd Friday that Blogger went out at 4 PM ( PDT).....and the last two fridays that it happend ...banks closed. Last time it was banks in Arizona/Nevada and Florida and the first time it happened it was banks in Cali....Maybe it is just coincidence...but it is an ODD coincidence....Let's watch and see if there is a connection...

Fannie Mae posted HUGE losses this am..Billions...MSM is barely talking about it....click the article above...

I was wondering if it might be related to Olympic coverage ... to enable the state-sponsored news coverage. But now that you bring it up, it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn yet another bank has bit the dust at closing time Friday. The Florida one is strange because the FDIC offered to pay 50% to any depositor who exceeded FDIC limits. That's 50% of their own money! Whereas IndyMac customers were told they were S.O.L.

That's a strange coincidence.

I'm inclined to think it's some Blogger-related internal issue (they have a version in Beta right now I think so maybe it's interfering). They have been having a bunch of outages and problems lately, for sure. I was trying to post comments the other day and it wasn't letting me do it once I hit "publish" - even though I could bring up the blogs from my reader.

I just checked FDIC.gov & there were no new bank failures today. Whew! I finally rec'd funds from our failed bank, but my local bank put a 14-day hold on it which seemed excessively long (they don't trust them either, it seems). Fun, hunh?
