Is Georgia a Wag The Dog Moment for Bush ? Is there something too contrived about this? Does the Regime want the Cold War ?Or is it about McCain?

Mid Day Thoughts on the Situation in Georgia....
.It's damn hard to trust an Administration that is swimming in lies and propaganda....and that is used to Contriving Crises and Altercations....and has NO diplomatic skills....and has been lusting to restart the Cold War since day one of taking over the White House.....

Okay so the situation is still unfolding in Georgia, and many are posting on it, Blogger Round Table and Empty Wheel have some interesting information. The Interviews with the Georgian President on CNN have been very odd. Does anyone else have questionable thoughts on this Conflict? I did notice that Condi interrupted her golf game to come to DC and go to the region, isn't she the Expert on Russian Studies ? Why should this be so complicated if she is such an expert ?Did Georgia provoke this situation with our help ? Why was Karl Rove in the Black Sea area last month ? Why was Condi in Georgia in July ? Didn't she see trouble? Why the Hell is McGramps giving Press Conferences and acting Presidential and Taking Questions and Telling HIS plans for the Situation ( Isn't HE overstepping HIS role as a Presidential Candidate ? isn't he inflating his role as a senator running for president? This is really very Questionable....)

And Suddently McCain has been giving press conferences left and right on this situation, how convenient. Considering that his Aide was a loggyist for Georgia ( see articles below). Oh, and how interesting Graham and Lieberman are going to the Region.....I really feel like any minute A Young Actress will be shown running across the screen clutching a puppy...Something about this all seems rather contrived and convenient...like an attempt to give McGramps his Big Rocky Moment....yet it makes him come off as a Leftover from the Fifties and Belligerant and like a Cold War Mongerer....And a bit of a Hypocrite saying that modern nations do not invade other countries ( really , well, what do we call Iraq ????)

Jeff Huber over at Pen and Sword seems to be thinking it's an orchestration of Cold War number2. Who knows.. it's probably all a bit of everything. I mean, when the eyes of the world are supposed to be on the Olympics and 'then' something happens?? Someone did a miscalculation..

well. something is wrong with this whole situation..and Bush does not come out and answer questions..mcCain does- that was very creepy and yesterday MCCain rode into his event with rocky playing and saying " we stand beside the georgian People" it felt very contrived- and convenient......like oh, they want him to LOOK like our next prez.....like putting Bush on the rockpile at groundzero made him look soooo presidential....

On C-Span this afternoon there was an AEI panel of "experts" (I know, just go with the flow for a second) "analyzing" (gag) the whole Russia-Georgia conflict in the best necon terms possible. One guy, a Lt Col Ralph Peters, was so horrible, I was gasping for air. He's like crazy General Curtis LeMay all over again. He didn't miss a chance to denigrate Obama either (called him a "warloard", WTHell?). You can watch it online at Cspan.org. The first neconasspeaker, Frederick Kaegan, at least tried to present some salient facts. FFWD about 21-minutes into it, when Raplph Peters starts in & tell me we are not looking at Curtis LeMay meets Dr Strangelove. What seems to be upsetting these guys most is that their guy, GWB, is too incompetent to make this into the major conflict their shriveled PNAC hearts so desire. And McCain out there telling us how he visited Ossetia & Georgia all the time & that gives him prez-cred? Spare me ... if his "visits" were effective, we wouldn't be sitting here now trying to analyze what went wrong.

yeah,,,and I linked the articles below about McCain and his AIDES who are lobbyists that have worked with Georgia-my how convenient....and this whole thing is really because Bush does not know how to negotiate or navigate any kind of diplomatic mess.....Fox too has been able to find neoconasses as ell...I think that Bush is hoping for all kinds of theatrics...the poor people on Georgia are in the middle of men playing oily games....and yeah if McCain goes there ALL the time we should be very worried and wondering what kind of "friendships" he was fostering...

The Bush administration and Israel.

Georgia expected a more supportive response from the USA, but alas, it wasn't to be.

In fact, the USA and Israel hung Georgia out to dry.

oh and McCain did too Chris...yup...

McCain was a part of this...and his Aide- who Knows what and who was promised What.....

another fine mess the Bush Regime has created....

I think the young actress would probably holding up a kitten...a calico kitten.

After reading the linked article, I'm sensing that there are some who miss their cold war.
