Now this is what I have been following though the way Phelps second Gold was won was quite exciting!
I was just listening to the chief scum condemning Russia in front of the White House. I thought Putin was his friend? What happened to the soul he saw?
Bush was just saying Russia better back off and they may try to unseat Georgia's President. You bet your ass they will.

Bush said there is evidence they may be trying to disable the airport. Gee! I also heard yesterday that Russia has military advisor's in Venezuela.

Yes Bush's forever war is beginning. Putin will not relent. It is screwed up but can you blame him? Bush will destroy the world in the name of peace.

well we can only hope...that this all gets resolved by wiser and cooler heads....the clock is ticking....I don't know what will happen -I do know I saw on the BBC hat Sarkosy was trying to work things out and negogiate a cease fire...I have heard NO ONE- not a single statement by State Dept or Dignatary explain this situation with any proper clarity or history...

Its the blame again! Everyone else blames the other guy to create a Grey area to be used to hide the true agenda. It was the cover of my first book and sadly with Bush's leadership it has become the way of the entire world.
I will be doing an update tomorrow. Bush says Russia better leave but that makes me laugh. He says they can't attack a sovereign nation hell only bush can do that. So it begins but you just relax and take care of you and 6.6 or 6.8 whoever he is now, HaHa. Take care!

    Patriot::
we only hear what Bush and the MSM want us to hear- I am checking French papers and sources- we have not heard how the negogiations went that the French were working on....( and where is Dick and Condi? just saying...)

yeah I caught the sovereign part too...yeah..right...

I have been following that too and last I heard Sarkozy was going to be meeting with Russia but I haven't followed up on it yet or heard anything.
I always look at the world news to hear the truth if as usual I suspect the line of crap we get from the MSM. They are still playing with Edwards.
I guarantee he is lying and I wish he would drop out. I just feel for his wife and kids but we have more important things to talk about!

don't forget the british sources too..I have written about it the last couple of days with plenty of links so not to be rude (I have two arguing kids in the background argh), but check out the links.. it's not just about 'the blame game' it's about the history, who causes what and who has something to gain.. the Georgian President thought he could get away with something and he didn't. It's not conding Russia but most, non American analysis says; what did you expect?? These are times when I think the 'European' in me rears its cute little head [g].. if you hear it in the MSM, Georgia is the nation that the West needs to protect.. ok, crap.. what the hey..I've got a 'war' going on behind me.. sorry, no intelligent yakkety yak from me..it's time for intervention!!! sigh...

    Ingrid:::

I hope your skills and negogiation skills worked out ;-)

I am going to put your links with this- if that is okay....also...I mentioned the French Negogiation talks that are going on right now- because Bush did not even wait until those were complete, before he came out to the garden all pissyfaced- very different than yesterday when he gave a happy little talk to Bob Costas.....and BBC also had more about the situation than our MSM ( I know shocking..) ekkk I hate August.....

But I will send folks your way...yup...

ha, I missed the french negotiations part..see? I had my mommy hat on today and figured, [bleep], I love/hate politics and what a time to be blogging, instead..I have my own 'turfwar' going on at home!! (two more weeks, two more weeks..school..haaa..) anyhow..thanks for linking.. I am by no means the ultimate source but I managed to find some links I myself thought interesting. There are plenty of other links/sources that could say the complete opposite but that's the lovely side of politics.. it's my blog and I link what I want to..
I emailed the international red cross this afternoon to ask them if they had a 'button' to put on for blogs..hopefully, they'll respond..

this whole situation, once it blows over, will have to stay in focus because it's in between the hooys that you need to find the links and happenings..sigh..

DK commented on my blog that Bush had to make an idiot of himself again by talking about the invasion of Russia..sigh..if it weren't for the fact that he's known to be disconnected from what he's saying in public speeches, one could argue it's fatigue but still...

we went swimming at the pool again tonight so we only caught a bit of olympic diving..that would scare me as I cannot dive even, but that is high..it always reminds me of that mr. Bean routine when he ends up on a high diving board and then..well, I just gotta find the youtube link now don't I??[g]
    night E..
    hugs

Condi is off playing Golf- so she can't help with this situation ( nice timing)...

No your links are great- I just have a couple...but you had better ones...Watching the Olympics..very cool...the swimming..ahhhh how I miss it...
the gymnastics just makes me soo damn mommy nervous...

Hope the little ones are okay...the last two weeks of summer always make kids so restless and grumpy....

    hugs...take care.....

We should've expected something bad when Condi went to Georgia (the Republic of) in July. I recall a news photo of her talking with Saakasvili. Wherever she goes, sh*t happens.

You know what all this confusion reminds me of? The way we screwed around for decades down in Latin America, cozying up to the worst dictators as long as they were anti-communist.

The Georgian leader ordered genocide in South Ossetia, but we support him because Georgia claims to be a democracy on the border of Russia. And oh yeah, we like the oil & oil pipelines running through there.

Yup, reminds me of CIA BS we pulled in Chile, Argentina, El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc, all over again! The names change, but the game is the same.

And Sarkozy "helping"? Well call me dubious, but a known Bush emulator, the first rightwing prez of france in a long time, might be pushing Bush's agenda more than peaceful ceasefire.

ps, tonight Keith made fun of Bush for the same speaking mistake that pushed me over the edge at Ingrid's ... with a straight face Bush said that there seems to be an effort underway to depose the duly elected govt of Russia. WTHF? The guy can't even read a prepared statement correctly! Jeez, when there is a serious diplomatic speech to be made, keep that jerk away from the podium.

    enigma4ever said...

DK..all you said is true...yup...I saw brief footage of Sarkozy and he looked worried...not his cool self...my gut feel was that Bush and Putin had words..and that sarfozy is the go between...and Miss Russia Studies herself Condi is playing golf somewhere..so she can not be bothered...every fucking august this happens...I swear...

they all want the damn cold war back...that is what they really want...

we have played cards with both of them with both ends of the deck..it is a problem...

but yes, bush is an idiot should not allowed near a podium....not at a time like this...and did you note he did not even correct himself...pig...thank heaven Keith corrected all of that...

    D.K. Raed said...

E, Bush did not even realize he made a speaking error because HE DOESN'T LISTEN TO HIMSELF. If he did, he'd be drinking in public by now.

Where are our envoys? Our ambassadors? Our State Defuckingpartment? Cuz if we are relying on Sarfoxy to defuse Putin, we might as well hand over the tank keys now.

So far, Cheney has threatened Medvedev, Bush has threatened Putin, Condi has patted Saakasvili on the back, and our military has flown Georgian troops back to Georgia from Iraq (unbelievably, they were #3 in our "coalition"). Will anyone be surprised if we are also flying in some of our spare weaponry & "consultants"? Hmmmm, Putin says they are seeing "mercenaries". Who would these be?

    jmsjoin said...

Red I have to laugh! You have that assessed right. I just wish we could get heard and make a difference!

Enigma I have been saying since before Bush, cut the cold war BS! It never ended it just got as little colder. Went a little further underground!

    enigma4ever said...

Bush would not know a cold War wind if it blew up his ass....and you and Jim have covered all the fine assanine nuances of this mess...

    jmsjoin said...

This is still just beginning. Russia said we must choose Georgia or Russia. Bush chose Georgia. Condi is going to Georgia.
We are flying supplies to Georgia on C17's who knows what they are? One of my sons is on c17's but when he goes somewhere he can't tell me or where he's going..
The supposed mercenaries I heard nothing else about. Knowing Israel is helping over there I heard they were black but aren't their black Jews or close? Anyway as long as we are flying there the door is open for accusations real or not!
This will not be quelled and the chief idiot has instigated this for years.
