I have a post over at SIREN'S CHRONICLES called "More Than a Number". It is about AIDS and the Numbers, but it is also about a patient and a friend that I lost to AIDS many years ago, I am encouraging you to give it a read. I have written about him before.He died 14 years ago on a rainy Easter...This painting was one of his last , it is called "The Wizard's Wand", painted in 1992 as he battled CMV retinitis.He painted it to honor his favorite movie, "Willow", which he said was a movie about People Feeling Small fighting Back against bigger Evil Forces, the "wand" symbolizes your own Inner Strength.
It is so simple, after knowing Someone like Rick, how could the numbers not matter.....
