Each of these women blogs with heart, soul and wisdom. They all have amazing humor and perspective.As many know the women's bloggers have to put up with alot of flack and trolls, and the ones that have hung in there all have stories to tell. But these are all strong women and amazing writers....

Hmmm. It ate my comment! But no matter, I just wanted to say thank you for including me in this distinguished list of women writers.
Interesting! I may be naive but why do women have more trolls? Doesn't make sense to me. We need to include everyone and hear from everyone!
I'd imagine because the internets is the perfect place to be an anonymous dickhead, which is the specialty of a lot of dudes. They all can't be public dickheads like Der Leader.
luckily no dickheads have 'applied' here but of course, that can change any minute [g]..
great company E and some who's blogs I have not visited yet.. ok..had to kick my son of the computer (I'm under the weather so he's on the computer for the day, well for big snippets of the day) but I do get dibs when I say 'off'!!

I'd say you're spot on with that assessment...
I know several women who were actually stalked by such dickheads. These guys threatened them by saying they knew where they lived and would come find them, that sort of aggressive stuff that men who love power over others likes to act out...some see women as vulnerable and easy prey.

yup...there are some of us that have had experiences with such smallminded dickheads....but all of us persevere - because none of us is vulnerable or "easy".....we are sorely underestimated ;-)

do we have more trolls- omg....yes...and we just are quick to delete them...yeah...they have been awful since day one...and it is not about politics- they prefer to get personal...most guys have no idea what we fight off...( which is why it is nice to have nice guys around....)

The reason women bloggers have more trolls/stalkers is because there are unstable, super-cowardly men out there who have nothing else to do but try to control us and what we write, and misogyny is much more rampant than man-hating. They are the same type of people who don't think rape is a big deal and that women ask for it.
These are "men" are lonely losers who take pleasure in causing misery around them. The Internets Tubes are a perfect place for these cowardly stalkers. And I know first hand!!
