Then it was Wednesday :Blog Round Up And Some Distractions and a little story...

Distributor Cap "s Cheesecake.... in "Cut The Cheese"..It will definitely make you want to eat cake....hmmmmmm.( there is nothing better than a Tasty Distraction).

Fallenmonk really explains the Financial Mess well...and in interesting way.He has more food for thought.

Fran at Ramblings really has plenty on the table to ponder.....

Zen Yenta has a great new blog......add her to your Roll...Really looks great.

Dada has really tweaked up his blog...Still full of snark, insight and wisdom.....and beautiful art, layout and photos.

And then Agitprop has Stormy Updates against Diaper Dave.....

And then for needed perspective and humor....LULU MAUDE....

So there are alot of Hearings on today...and after watching the Peanut Hearings...I needed Monty Python... The Argument Clinic...

Maxine Waters on Countdown after she rocked the Hearings today,.....she was amazing...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
INXS..."Never Tear Us Apart"....( I confess I needed some Screaming Sax in a bad way...)
A Memory......
" Sax in the Graveyard and a Box of Crayons"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This song is set in winter...Bare Trees...Cold Winds....and The Sax Player in the graveyard always reminds me of taking my son to Volunteer Park in Seattle, next to it is a beautiful Cemetery, and we would go to the playground and then the Cemetery and have picnics....It was quiet...Except on Wednesdays there was a College Student who would practice his Sax...and we would walk around "Rubbing" Letters off the tombstones....I had butcher paper and crayons and our goal was to find All Letters from the alphabet...My son was 4, and this project took about 3 days...( have you ever tried to find a X or Z in a graveyard ? not an easy task...) So you are wondering What made my mind wander so far off course....I found a box of crayons in a Drawer....and it made me remember 6-6 asking " I want to go grave rubbing and listen to sax"....Except one time we were at the dollar store when he said that, and this is what it sounded like to the stunned clerk " I want to go grave Robbin' and listen to sex "....( and yes, after she said WHAT did he say ???....I did VERY carefully explain WHAT 6-6 Meant.....)

So we have high winds...and rains...and pressure shifts...

( it was 60 degrees today...really...but we are supposed to have temp drops and snow by morning....sigh...)

anyways..if the winds knock out the power or the internet- know I will be back tomorrow...

Maxine Waters makes us proud of CA---certainly makes up a hundred fold for the antics of the governator, who as a true Republican doubled the State debt during his tenure.
