This needed to happen and needs to be carried out swiftly....it was always Un-American and Inhumane, and has destroyed lives and families.Bush used to say in his Speeches that we have an ALL Volunteer Force- and it was a blatant lie, the soldiers were treated worse under this administration, they were enslaved under the Bush Administration sent over and over to an Illegal War and trapped by Bush's lies and negligence. And now that they are returning we need to do what we can to help care for them.

They are not stopping the stop loss for another 6 months.
I'm glad they are stopping, but why not sooner?
Some troops have done 3 or more tours of duty in Iraq.... 6 more months probably looks like *hell* to a weary soldier (and their families).
Still- a step in the right direction, for sure.
I have no idea why it is not stopping sooner..but it is stopping..finally...
