well honey get me my hankies....lordy- she is a piece of work...claiming she met him ....how the "gender" Battle was dear to him- what a load.....don't even get me started....( meanwhile she and Bill have been calling Superdelegates sayin" he CAN'T win"- not that that sounds TOO racist....)

( and going on Leno and joking about "snipers"- it reminded me of Bush joking about losing the WMD....there are SOME THINGS that should not be joked about....because they are not "funny"...)

I don't know why Obama did not go to Memphis...I don't get it...6-6 said maybe he thought it was exploitive....another friend suggested maybe he had had threats...I don't know...but I know seeing McShame and Hillary there made me ill...

( also NBC Nightly news- susposedly had a nice segement planned there- instead they had a piece about BEST BUY- I thought I was going to throw up........so much for Honoring MLK....)

(I should have my post done later tonight...it is about my Aunt May- the Riots and the Candles, her neighbors...RFK ...and "Amazing Grace"......)

Loved the video! Thank you for sharing that.

I just read your posts about autism, and I did see Jenny McCarthy on Larry King Live. It was so interesting. I think she is onto something, defiitely. She also has been successful in pulling her son back from the brink as well. Perhaps people should start listeing to her.

My daughter is a speech therapist and she works with autistic children. It must be heartbreaking for the parents to have an autistic child.

After King and Malcolm X were assasinated, Afro American political leadership was beheaded.

I was with the Poor People's Campaign. As an insider I can tell you, King was getting more radical, privately breaking with pacifism. His speeches are fresh today as ever.

My blog team member John Peterson will be in Cleveland Jone 28-29, at Crowne Plaza Hotel, for an important antiwar conference. It will unite the two major antiwar coalitions. See this.

thank you for news about the AntiWar Conference- I had no idea...thank you for that...( things like that never make the news here...)

Josie:
Autism is heartbreaking...for all involved....and here it is well known and accepted that there is a crisis...( funny it is ONLY in the States....and yet the US Govt is not working harder....reminds me of the apathy that AIDS recieved from our Govt. in the early 1980s....) NIH did start Studies on MMR in 1998- to never finish or publicize....the Sad thing is that Without the Media for the families, and without Scientists to properly study the Vaccine issue- it has not gotten the coverage or the REAL Scientific Study that is needed....

It was weird for me to hear yesterday by supported that MLK was the most hated man in America at the time. I wouldn't have known that. It is all of a sudden the void to say how great MLK was and I was happy to hear McCain having to apologize for voting against MLK Day!
