HIllary 's New Demographic....Nuns with Guns over 60 making rush to the Polls

Obama is ahead in Delegates,he has momentum in the Superdelegates ( only 22 behind her now),he is ahead in the Money (with more money from small donors),More States, More RED States, More New Voters, More Diverse Voters, More Independents, More Young Voters, and More Voters all ages, More Voters Under 60, More Male Voters....the Media can spin her Dirty Pa. Win 20 ways from the Truth, but we all know she played dirty to maintain a Win in a State that she had Claimed was a Cakewalk....and Obama gave her a run for her money there. ( Speaking of which , HOW broke is she ???...) I am sick of HER ( and Bill too)...it is embarrassing....The Rovian Playbook used within Our Own Party to Damage Our Own Party...All because Hillary is unable to do Math.

I had the Hall&Oats Song "Rich Girl " stuck in my head....I blame Hillary for that.....so I linked it to the Title.

So I took a Break from the Hillary Wrecking Ball Mission, Scorned Earth Campaign this weekend...I took care of a sick cat....cleaned my frig....made oatmeal cookies...hennaed my hair and painted my toenails purple....and listened to alot of music from the 70's and 80's.....and I made some calls for Obama....We gotta help him WIN Indiana....that is all there is to it.

Today, as Jim and I ate lunch, we turned the big screen onto CNN and Leslie.

Barack Obama surrogate Sen. Claire McCaskill and Borg Queen surrogate Sen. Charles Schumer were on.

As I've said for sometime now, that great plantation called Manhattan, has two media outlets.

On the deadtree side there's the New York Times. On the cable side, there's CNN. My assessment was confirmed as we listened with our mouths open in amazement as little Leslie of AIPAC said the following:

"I can easily see Hillary Clinton asking Barack Obama to be her running mate."

Huh? WTF? Leslie, didn't you resign from AIPAC when CNN hired you to be on the air 24/6 a few years ago?

Why would Hillary Clinton ask Barack Obama to be her Veep when she's in second place? Barack Obama has more popular votes and more delegates. It should be Obama who would ask Clinton to be his running mate.

Ah, the media bias in on the cable news network for that great plantation called Manhattan.

Ahhhh Christopher...
now I have some advice....you and Jim can not watch Cableschmuckery while you dine....I mean that is not good for any one....at this point I think CNN owes us millions in Mylanta fees..If Jack Cafferty was not on CNN I would have bailed on them years ago...( okay I confess I kinda do like Anderson Cooper...sometimes....not when they have him covering dumb stuff...but sometimes...)

Now about the "Hillary asking Obama to be VEEP"...omg....that is absurd...and if anyone thinks after her Dirt Mudflinging Rovian Campaign that he would" run with her"??? what the hell....

and we all KNOW that her VEEP is and WILL be Bubba....it is so simple...

BUT the bigger thing is that over the weekend she has been losing Fundraisers...and support...have you noticed over the past weeks- when they show her "rallies' , they are small womanly affairs or empty venues or highschool students ( forced attendence?).....

I just needed a break from it this weekend...

I did make some calls...the first three to Indiana....all were Already to Vote for Obama....( they had some unhappy things to say about Hill).

Anderson Cooper: gay and a Republican.

A cardcarrying member of the Log Cabin Repugs. Straight women really have a Jones for him.

Maybe it's the Prada shoes? He sure doesn't make me hard.

Christopher...
I have no idea about his Life...or preferences...for a time there...like when Katrina happened...I thought he had some Journalistic Integrity....but it has not been consistant enough for me....

a repug..really ? that is too bad....

( me I just want another Peter Jennings to cover stories...I did like Arron Brown when he was on CNN- but Anderson Cooper's arrival kind of ended Arron's reign on late night there...I really like Keith because he covers things that need covering...we need more...more than anything I am a longtime newsjunkie....)

Christopher said...

Keith is a pip. Perfectly splendid.

I adore him.

Christopher said...

Back to Anderson Cooper.

He was a contributor and supporter of Log Cabin Republican member Richter Elser, in his campaign to unseat New Haven Democratic mayor, Democrat John DeStefano.

Apparently, Anderson Cooper and Richter Elser go way back and became friends when Cooper came out and was looking for a gay Republican organization to join.

As is often the case with eastcoast "old money" and there none older than the Vanderbilts, they tend to be rather cliquish. Like the Bush dynasty. With the exception of the Kennedys, most of them are quite conservative.

Knowing this, I've never understood what is attractive about Anderson Cooper.

enigma4ever said...

For me...
News/Journalism is about having someone to listen to.....that is what makes Keith so awe-inspiring...and earth shattering....

that is too bad about Anderson...but I guess that is the way of it.....I would hope that going to countries with poverty and disasters and human misery would effect him...as a journalist....

See I think that is what gives Journalists integrity....they learn from what they report...and it gives them depth and perspective....and THAT is why Keith is special....and meant to the Ed Murrow of our time...

Jack Cafferty is the only one on CNN that is not an open dye in the wool Repug, and their stories show it.

Cafferty needs to be on MSNBC.

enigma4ever said...

Larry:
See here is the thing- I blogged on him and also Rachel a few weeks back...NOW THAT would be a Show ? .....jus sayin'

( and I know CNN is mad at Cafferty right now....so I was just trying to plant a little seed...)

Hah! The "rich girl" was outed by Tom Hayden today as he remembered her ties to the same groups of people that Obama's big, ooooh-scary oooooh-weatha-unda-ground guyfriend Ayers was with 40-yrs ago. Like she was in Chicago for those 3-days of '68 riots. Like her assn w/law firms that defended those ooooh-scary '60's radicals. C'mon now, she wasn't no 7-yr old girl when all that was going on, she was writing up legal means of defense as part of her law internship. She was right in there giving legal cover to scary radical hippies; maybe even Ayers and/or his wife. Guilt by association, Hillary! Tom Hayden Got'cha Good!

ps, is the cat ok? tomorrow's my henna day. what a mess that is, hunh, but I'm glad a natural plant product works so well to restore red highlights.

enigma4ever said...

DK...
that Hayden piece is good...and good on him for outing her...that California law firm issue is kind of interesting ( I swear I did not read that in her book...)

Obama met Ayres at a party....that is the extent of the "relationship" , he met him at a party of Chicago Activists.....( after Ayres had been rehabilitated and done his time.....and repented...)...oye....

Cat is much better..he just had a hard time with the anesthesia and took along time to clear..and it left him a little out of it for a couple of days...so we had to go back to the vet- and have a few more sleepless nights...poor fella - big sweetie that he is he really is fragile...much better now...thankfully...

Henna...shine...and just feel better....like a spa day..ya know?...silly isnt it...purple nail polish on my toes cheered me up....I really need Flip Flop weather....badly....

sigh...

D.K. Raed said...

Glad the cat is OK. An anesthesia reaction can be bad. One of our cats almost died from it & it left her w/heart problems. Our current oldest dog had a lot of trouble coming out of anesthesia from a routine tooth cleaning -- took her days to get back to normal. The vets are always so casual about it, but you know how bad it is.

Aaaah, purple nail polish -- to go w/your purple lilacs!

Enigma, Baxter and I send good wishes to your cat, glad he's feeling better now.

I too am SO sick of Hillary and Bill - and the media. I don't even watch any of them anymore, they make me sick the way they are constantly spinning things to make nothing seem like something.

Obama has got to win Indiana so they'll shut up already about Hillary.

Maui and DK...
kitty is much better...like his old snuggly self...thanks...and I agree we need the this whole thing resolved over...I am sick of it too...can you imagine now she wants a Lincoln style debate ( aka a brawl ) - "on flatbed pickup trucks" ??
Let's hope that Indiana does a good job for Obama....

( I am concerned about the ID law in Indiana....that just passed this am....)

The wingnuts are not going to let this Rev.Wright go.Obama must come out and make a really strong statement.Wright made an ass out of himself again today.Send this guy on vacation.

Thanks for all your efforts Enigma
You deserved a break and made good use of your time. I included it today but at this point McCain and Hillary will keep chewing Obama but his biggest enemy is Reverend Wright.
I keep hearing him and it blows my mind that he is on MSM saying the things he is. He has to know he is destroying Obama and has to be doing this for his own notoriety but what about America?

cosmiccowboy said...

We can bitch and moan about the MSM talking about Rev.Wright and not the issues at hand, but the fact is they are interested in ratings, nothing else.
Obama has to come forth and distance himself from Wright.I think Wright is on an ego trip and is going to ride this horse as far as possible.
As for me,I dont want to be watching Rev.Wright on the news in Oct..

Meet my new cat Baby. If you count down to number 20 from link below you will see her in a red cat box.

Baby

She weighted 17 1/2 lbs when the vet saw her right after I left the shelter.

Time for a nap for this dirty old man.

Take care and...

God Bless.

enigma4ever said...

AnonP;
So I take it Baby has a new loving home? wonderful news....I know the two of you will be very happy....good for you....namaste...

CosmicCowboy:
I too am distancing myself from the news....and their Wright media circus...I think Obama is doing the right thing- going out speaking and meeting with people...letting the people know him...The Wright thing is about Ratings and I don't know why Rev Wright is on such a stint...I don't get it....and I do worry...

Patriot:
I think Cosmic is right - this is all about the Media and ratings sadly......horrible turn .....Obama really did not need this...

NB:
I am sorry....I know you support Hillary....and that I don't..... People see the Clintons as they are, it is pretty dissappointing.....I used to have respect for both of them....but not anymore...( and now she wants to debate Obama on the back of a flatbed pick up truck..???lordy) Her Campaign ( and Bill too)....their quest, campaign....has been as dirty and Rovian as it gets....

It should have been a wonderful era of our time....instead it is full of strife and division....and they bear responsibility....ugly times...that hopefully will end soon...and the party can somehow be healed.....in time to beat McCain...

I don't care that I'm not gonna talk about Hill the Goldwater Girl or Anderson Cooper the gay Republican being the next best thing to a crazy Jewish Nazi sympathizer.
What do I want discuss?
Purple toes, of course!
I soooo love painting my toes purple, and BabyGirl insists that I paint her tiny toes, as well.
Our VERY favorites?

The. Best. Purple. Ever.
AND
An Affair in Red Square.
The. Best. Red. Ever.....since Revlon's British Redcoat of the 1990's, of course.
aaaahhh... how I love being a girl!

Hmmm. We've had "soccer moms" and "NASCAR dads." Now we apparently have the "nuns with guns" demographic to contend with.

We'll see how the superdelegates fare come convention time. IMHO an Obama-Edwards ticket would probably outpoll a Clinton-Obama one.

now you know I am kidding ( kind of)....I admit that the Pundits have been waxing about her ability to get the Gun Vote and the Cahtolic Vote and the Vote over 60 in Pa.....so my pea brain just took it a step further.....and yes a Obama -Edwards ticket would be soooo amazing...

Tina:
Ahhhh toenail polish...lovely...distraction for sure ;-)and different shades of purple...always (and yes a bit inspired by the Lilacs...) I also have a shade called Sea Foam that I love....sigh....

Fran:
I will definently be over...more repugthuggery....oh dear...there will be plenty between now and November...
