The Particle Accellerator that is supposed to study the Black Hole Theory - has to shut down for repairs ( so good that it is Soooo Safe?)

Well, this gives one pause, supposedly this is SAFE....and poses no risks, yet it has to shut down for repairs, and yes, because it does pose some safety concerns...It is only 330 feet below ground...Seems prudent to shutdown for repairs...( Do we really need the Black Hole Mystery solved so badly ?)
