E, your title link is dead (at least it went nowhere for me). I think this was a definite senior moment. found this on a local blog:

... "yesterday McCain lost track of which continent Spain is located on and would not promise to meet with the Spanish Prime Minister, a NATO ally ...

McCain won’t meet with a NATO ally, that has nearly 1,000 troops in Afghanistan, that has lost more than 20 soldiers there, has been brutally attacked by Al Qaeda, is incredibly influential in Latin America, has the seventh largest economy in the world, is a DEMOCRACY, and is a large and influential country in the EU. Won’t meet with them?

Maybe it wasn’t a mistake–--maybe McCain intentionally insulted Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero? Assuming he understood what he was being asked, McCain might have been adhering to the Bush administration’s unofficial policy of snubbing Zapatero because of his opposition to the occupation of Iraq.

However, the interview clearly indicates McCain mistakenly thought the question was about Latin America."

The Pain about Spain is Mainly in McCain's Brain.

I wonder if he becomes Pres. if he will go take some courses in Latin - like Dan Quayle said he should have after realizing he would be spending so much time in Latin America!

Somebody should set that man down with a generous helping of paella and sangria and straighten the little jerk out.

Your title link and the first link in your post is dead (at least for me, but remember I'm having blogger prob's, though I DID just manage to fix my last post).

The YouTube link is perfect. My gawd, doesn't he sound like a talking corpse? He compares Hugo Chavez with Evo Morales. What do they have in common as leaders other than their push-back against the U.S.? I cannot believe many hispanics will vote for him if they hear that interview.
