POLL UPDATES and More ::::Obama and Biden spoke in Fredericksburg Virginia 25,000 Showed up in the Pouring Rain.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last Night in the Pouring Rain Obama took off his soaking wet jacket as people stood to listen to him...earlier in the day in Greensboro N.C, over 20,000 showed up to hear him and Biden. 57 Million in the States watched the Debate. ( McCain't is hiding in his office down in Arlington for the weekend...still calling House Repugs causing havoc with the Bailout Mess).
If you want to see Video of the Event and watch how these people were there supporting Obama and Biden....in the Pouring Rain....for Hours...Very inspiring.....
From WaPo:
University of Mary Washington Police Chief James C. Snipes confirms more than 25,000 peopled showed up for Sen. Barack Obama's rally today on the campus's main square.After consulting with the fire marshal, Snipes estimates that 12,000 people passed through security to get into the square while another 14,000 were left out.If accurate, Obama supporters doubled the population of the Fredericksburg today.
Based on interviews at today's rally, those who arrived at the campus before 2:30 p.m. made it into the rally before it reached capacity at around 4:45 p.m. Those who arrived at 3 p.m. or later were stuck in a line that stretched more than a mile through the campus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
( and meanwhile Last Night McLame was in DC having Dinner at a Posh Hotel Resturante "City Zen" with Joey Lieberman.....gee I guess he really feels the plight of the common people...cough...)

This morning Obama is on CBS Face the Nation .....tune in...

I have been to Fredericksburg many times, I have walked up the hights the Union Troops tried to take, I think THAT hill will be taken finally this election year...I lived in Northern Virginia, for about 15 years, I can say there looks to be a sea change coming there, but let's not forget Virginia, NOT TOO LONG (was it the late 70s?) elected Doug Wilder, as their Governor, yes Doug Wilder was and IS still Black! So even though the state has a determinedly conservative...dare I say religious right wing fueled conservative block, it has stepped outside that meme in the past, and in the very recent present! I think that the huge increase in voter registrations in minority communities in VA will, along with the very progressive DC suburbs will finally bring Virginia back to the democratic fold………in a progressive way!

Senator Obama said in a speech today that our democracy and our future as a nation is decided by us. Right.

That and the guys who do the vote caging and the vote machine fixing and the ballot fraud and the vote counting.

Other than that, it is all decided by us.

I do not know if this is a bailout or just something short term. We are looking at $350 billion dollars going out to do what for Main Street...nothing.

We have a Mortgage Back Security that no one can run. Our government will have to go out and hire the exact people that got us in this mess in the first place, to run it.

Even as we speak there are lobbyist that is already finding ways to buy up useless mortgage loans and at some point secures them with the same backed security that mostly all 535 House and Senate reps have agreed to.

Bush has looked the other way for eight years and God forbids if McCain gets into office with his deregulation.

We are on a hull falling fast and Main Street will feel it hard and fastest first.

Main Street is already feeling it...come to my hood...its hurting...in ways that are heartbreaking...

Is it too late ? is it enough ? should these people be handling the Rescue...no..we all know that...I knew that trouble was coming I was just hoping it would hit when we had NEW leaders...

me and my son been living at poverty level for a long time...we know how to eat noodle 100 different ways...and how to make a dollar last 20 different ways...

and I have already had to move one in the past 2 years because my last landlord got foreclosed...
and now I know my landlord is having trouble...so I sit here and hold my breath...I have watched neighbors and friends lose jobs and houses...

we will somehow get through this...somehow...

But I know in the end...it is up to all of us to take care of each other...the government has been fema'd...
