How Bad is the ForeClosure Mess ? Here in Ohio it is Heartbreaking...and REAL....please do watch this Bill Moyers Piece on it....Millions are losing their homes in Our Country, also Renters...Here in Ohio, if your landlord gets foreclosed, you have 3 days to move. And I am worried. My Neighborhood has many empty houses...I don't know what will happen.

Three days to move?!
Here in California, if your landlord gets foreclosed, your new landlord has to go through "the process" -- a 30 days notice to vacate the property, and if you don't vacate, then an unlawful detainer if you don't vacate that could take another 25 days, then a writ of possession that gives you another 5 days. In other words, if you dragged the process out to its logical conclusion you could be there as long as 60 days after the foreclosure, though you generally don't want to wait for the unlawful detainer since that goes on your credit record whether you win or lose and you'll be homeless after that because nobody will rent to you.
I wonder, why is it that you Back East types allow these kinds of things? Three days to move? HUH!

that was just the first hood to be effected...
