Yay! Hope this trend continues...The conservatives are such hypocrites. I think they would just be all over the dems if this type of story had come out on their side. And I'm not sure I believe that that's the end of it. Is she really pregnant or is Trig her baby after all? The whole thing is embarrassing to think about though...I feel like I've been reading the tabloids and participating in discussions about Britney Spear's sister. I think your link is incorrect by the way...here's the right one for now, http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/01/opinion/polls/main4405106.shtml?source=mostpop_story
Just to clarify, I meant that I hope that they continue to gain in the polls (and ultimately in reality). This sentiment is detached from my discussion of Babygate. I would not wish that this happen to any teenage girl, although it far to often does.
I believe Obama supporters (myself included) are dead on in the analysis of the polls. Another thing to factor in: Most of these polls use only "likely voters," which the pollsters define as "people who voted in the last two Presidential Elections." This automatically eliminates anyone under the age of 26, and also eliminated newly registered voters, regardless of age.
